Edited by: hinta on 10/11/2005 21:22:27 I currently just bought a Enyo and I haven't got the slightest clue on which gear to fit it, I am currently training my mechanic skills, and after that i plan to train my advance weapon upgrade so It will take less pg to put the turrents online. I am currently thinking of this setup: high: 4-Light Neutron Blaster II 1-Rocket Launcher II __________________________________ Medium: 1-1MN Afterburner II 1-Tracking Computer II __________________________________ Low: 1-Reactor Control Unit II 1-Small Armor Repairer II 1-Armor Thermic Hardener II 1-Armor EM Hardener II I want to know weither this setup would work for lets say level 3 missions. I havent tried this out cause i still need a little more skills before i can have most of these modules on. Need some help please.

Edited by: hinta on 10/11/2005 21:21:58 types of rats: guristas, angel, sansha. So it would be better to use rails instead of blasters? Then instead of the blaster i would switch it to 150mm Railgun II. Switching the tracking computer for a web isn't a prob. So if i take out the em harder what should i put in the slot that is open?

Edited by: Berasus'' Minion on 10/11/2005 21:23:08 4 150mm railguns (some prefer 125's tracking though and they use less pg)
1 ab 1 webber
1 armour rep 2 1 cap power relay 1 damage mod. either another damage mod or a hardner.
if you fit 125's you'll be able to fit a launcher in the 5th high slot as well, may take a bit more to squeeze the launcher in if you use the 150mm's (few ranks of adv wep ups should easily do it)
edit: forgot your using t2's, i use prototypes, less fitting req's :p, might not be able to fit the 150mm's at all without adv wep ups with t2's

yah, my plan is to max out advance weapon upgrade to 5, so it wont take much power, true as in t2's do take a little more juice. I prob will just have to prototypes then.

I tend to use my Harpy for rails, and my Enyo with blasters. My setup is as follows (pure PvE-setup)
4x Neutron II's
1x Gistii AB 1x X5 Web
1x Small Armor Repairer II 1x Cap Relay 1x Magnetic Field Stabilizer II 1x PDU
This is a -very- tight fit, i got 0.4 something PG to spare. (with AWU 4)

On frigates, always use MAPC (Micro Aux Power Core) Instead of RCU's unless it's a basic RCu you can only fit because of the tiny amount of CPU you've got spare

For missions I fit out my enyo as follows: High: 4 x 125 mm tech 2 rails, Arbalest missle launcher med: tech 2 AB, X5 web Low: Explosive armour hardener, tech 2 armour repper, cpr, damage mod
I have had problems recently though with cap. For some reason I now can't sustain my armour hardener and repper, even with no guns firing. This happened recently where my modules go offline even when I have 1/2 to 1/3 cap left. This has rendered my enyo useless however before that it was a beast in lvl 3 missions. I have all cap skills to 5 so this is a mystery to me.
The missles where em missles and I would start nailing the npc's at 27 kms to have their sheilds reduced by the time I got there (as rails suck and knocking out shields). I hope this helps, if in doubt run missions with a friend in a retribution. The enyo + retribution combo allows you to finish missions like spy stash in under 20 minutes.

Insurance on all Tech2 ships doesn't make anything like the value you pay for the ship because of the high price BPO sellers are able to charge for BP copies. This is in turn due to the time it takes to make a single copy for all tech2 gear (too damn long)... Basically an Enyo will take about 3M worth of gear to produce and the BPC will cost about 10M, but the BPC costs aren't factored into insurance, so you lose that value. It's nothing new... Just the price of flying Tech2...

Be wary of blasters for PvE. If you get a npc inty on you they can web and scram you outside of your blaster range. Often on the higher missions there are more than one inty too.

lvl3 enyo set up I use.
highs: 4 T2 or named 125's
meds: AB2 Cap 1 or better
Lows T2 or named rep 200mm plate adaptive nano 2 mag stab I or better
Webs are not needed for frig guns. Just realize that there are some missions you don't want to do with an enyo until you are really comfortable with the ship. And some that are going to be too much pain to bother with in an AF such as the extravaganza or spy stash. Just play smart with your aggro and yu'll do great!
The set up above required ENG V. 62/62.50 grid, and the skills needed to fit as muct T2 gear as possible. Electronics 4 may be required as well.

If your going up against angels always fit an explosive hardner. If you dont then the angel rats will rip through you in no time with your 10% resistance to explosive. I would say 1 hardner is all u need on an enyo as it already has high resistances to 3 damage types.
i use 125 II's cos they use less grid and i like 1 armor rep, 1 50% hardner, 1 cpr and 1 damage mod in lows. Sometimes go for 2 damage mods but depends if i think i'll need some extra cap or not.
If your going against serpentis then you are pretty safe with blasters cos most serp rats come within blaster range. And the good thing about my setup is that 125's and ion's have exactly the same fitting requirments so i dont have to change my fitting at all if i want blasters.
Always keep your afterburner on in a mission as it will keep your transversal high so you take a lot less damage from anything bigger then a frig.

Don't fit rails for npcs, stick with ions.
4x ions (t2) 1x nos
1x ab (t2) 1x web
1x small armor rep (t2) 1x mag stab (t2) 2x cap relays
You can adjust the lows for armor hardeners, but this setup works great for any Serpentis spawn. Only use rails for pvp. Trust me on this, you shouldn't need the extra ranged that the rails give you for npcing.

but if you were to have ions wouldn't you take more damage? cause u need to get in range for that

Despite what some others have said, I'd use rails over blasters for lv3 missions. You simply dont need that kind of dmg for cruisers and frigs, and by the time you fly in blaster range, you could of just killed it with rails.
my lv3 setup -- 4x 125mm rail (proto or t2) 1x rocket launcher (named)
1x ab II 1x web
1x small rep II 1x cpr 2x mfs II
Can swap a mfsII for another cpr and you have lots of cap to shoot and tank with, but not usually needed. I actually prefer to use 150mm for the extra range, but they're a little harder to fit with 2x dmg mods. _________
It is with a heavy heart that I wander into the kitchen and begin rifling through the knife drawer.
