Earlier today an accord was brokered by ASCN with G/IRON.
Eariler today the Ascendant Frontier and our allies were asked to restore order to stain space. As we prepared to enter Stain territory a conversation took place between Southern and Norhtern Forces.
To that end, G & IRON have agreed to remove their POSĘs and will leave the southern territories peacefully by DT Sunday going into Monday. This agreement was reached because no one wished to fight endless blob and POS wars that were soon to follow.
A shaky cease fire in the southern territories has been called until this action is completed.
ASCN will then retake the stations in 16P and C9. Esoteria will be declared an ASCN protectorate until its future can be determined.
Let the flaming and conjecture begin.

The only thing that bothers me here is a slightly bitter aftertaste of IRON/G efforts being used by ASCN (again) to their own profit and no benefit to those who actually fought in that campaign (mind you, respect is not a benefit and not a kind of profit).

this is the best its only so long before ascn is next this is twice they used Stain to gain more space but ur time will come. and as for best pvp come on what Burn eden and us do to u i dont think bob or [5] would waste thier time

Was very enjoyable time down in stain - stain guys always put up a good fight - didnt see a single ASCN around during the conflict - anyhow thanks Stain for the good fights and everyone who was involved.

Yep, very nice campaign and we met very decent people down there.
I'd like to wave at Interstellar Exodus, not only because they have Exodus in their name , but because they proved a very cool bunch of people.
The same goes for other corps we had the pleasure to fight, I hope we could always get the same good sport attitude from all of our enemies.

I don't understand the ASCN comment here. Did you mean this as a good thing (that we stayed out of business that wasn't ours) or a bad thing (like we didn't help someone who we had no mutual defence pact (AFAIK) with)?

Our Statement thus far:
G/IRONs deepstrike attack on the Esoteria and Paragon-Soul strongholds has been met with unprecedented success.
Stain Alliance under pressure and after the loss of Oberon's 16p Outpost agreed to remove MASS from all positions of power amongst the remaining SA corps. Those will found fresh Alliances or join the ASCN.
With our primary goal, the erosion of MASS influence in the south accomplished the G/IRON command has dealt with ASCN and Fix to take over our strategic assets and holdings in the region as we relocate our fleets.
This will allow for a peaceful transition of territorial control to local forces as soon as we are soundly convinced of lasting change within the ex-SA framework. G/IRON will take any steps required to see these changes through and will prolong our presence as needed should we deem it necessary.
Another one will follow shortly in an independant thread, thanks.
