~~ [G] Forces secure Weapons of MASS Destruction in Stain ~~
Major Victory for [G] Alliance, SA about to disband
"I still cant fully believe it," [G] Spokesperson Gyro DuAquin was overheared saying. "We came prepared for a long campaign against an enemy that outnumbers us and is deeply entrenched, and now we have achieved total victory after such a short time." Later that night, the news spread like a wildfire: the biggest corporate entity in the universe of EvE, know as "Stain- Allaince", has succumbed to the assault by [G] and allied forces and is about to disband. The end of SA marks the end of a danger to all civilized space. "According to our sources, thebold of SA was trying to start a 'total war', and we in [G] are glad we have ended this inhuman scheme just in time," said Gyro.
This major victory for [G] comes as no surprise. Its only a mere two weeks since [G] ended a successful campaign and managed to achieve a favorable peace agreement after their empire war with ASCN. Rumor has it the peace contract included docking rights and free travel through ASCN space to help with the upcoming invasion against SA, but the details have not been revealed to the public.
"If you go against the enemies of freedom whereever they are, you cant go without strong friends you can trust," added Fleetcommander Bratzo. "Those IRON guys and gals aim in the same general direction as we do, and we both know a thing or two bout aiming. If you catch my meaning." Reports from the former warzone indicate IRON did a great deal in helping to keep the supply lines clear for [G] convoys and troops. [G] Alliance has also extended their thanks to the newly formed RAZOR Alliance. It is not clear what role this still young new faction has filled in this epic conflict.
Senior Fleetcommander Wildcard, CEO of Steelvipers Corporation, explained the problems [G] had to overcome in this remarkable military operation: "We moved several freighter loads of equipment some 20 jumps through potentially hostile space. A logistical nightmare if you ask me, but we have done it right on schedule." The hard work has payed off in full: [G] Alliance managed to be the first to claim a player built outpost from an opposing faction. [G] Lead has denied all rumours claiming a large sum of money has been payed by a third party for the aquisition of the outpost. Gyro DeAquin stated: "We are no mercenaries. We fight whereever we see the future of EvE in danger, not only for economic gain."
"Our priorities now are clear: We need to establish a political solution for the former SA territory. If we can achieve stabilty in that old warzone, we could transform this victory for [G] in a victory for all of EvE." No concrete plans were announced at this time, but a stewardship over the region by a neighbouring alliance was discussed as well as reinstating the old souvereign, Stain-Empire. [G] is expected to relocate its main fleet to an undisclosed solar system in the Fade region in the space of two weeks.

Well, AFAIC SA isn't disbanding at all. In middle of major change - maybe - but not disbanding, and not moving out from SA claimed 0.0 as well. -----

SA about to disband
I'm not used to G statements moving ahead of events really.
Not that I mind much, but it leaves the accuracy your statement open to alot of 'discussion', so to say.
It might be wiser to succeed first, and then announce the actual success. (not saying the taking of an outpost was not a success btw, but this announcement is going a bit further isn't it ?).
Anyway, good to see some stuff happening closer to home for once. Personally, I wouldn't mind not having to move for four hours to get to the closest serious hostiles tbh. _______________________________________________

afaik sa told g "ohnoes pls stop killing us. we will kick mass out and disband the alliance" well sa (mass) are traitors again, even while crawling knee-deep in a river of blood from their fallen brave fighters, who died defending sa space without any help from ubermass. you have no honour!

MASS is not the leader of SA - the CEO's are. And MASS has nothing to do with recruiting corps to SA. You might wanna look at the official SA description, where the SA recruiter is mentioned.

If Woodlouse could stop patting himself on the back for a second and explain:
How does taking an outpost give you victory over an entire alliance and there space ?
Stain still claims sovereignty in the majority of sytems with conq stations so its a bit premature for a victory dance IMHO.
Congrats is due to your successful capture of the outpost in Esoteria but you Alliance has not proven by any means it can maintain the needed equiptment and resources to hold the area. Your far away from home and the conflict has only just started.
Seems the first stage and victory goes to your alliance without a dought but SA/SE would wear you down quickly proving it difficult for you to remain in control of the area.
At this time its a bit bold of you to decide future plans for a region you clearly do not hold. Stay awhile, fight and win sovereignty over the remaining systems then you might be better qualified in saying you have a decision in the future of the region known as Stain.

if this is to happen, then how can you expect to do the following....:

....
well played G/IRON, its fair to say that your blitzkrieg attack caught SA completely off guard. There is no love lost for Mass as far as FIX is concerned... but that did not extend to not aiding a Southern neighbour in the form of SA.
FIX did offer assistance to SA on the first day of the attack, but were turned down by MASS. We assisted to a certain degree anyways a couple of days later after talking to more sensible SA parties.
Our concience is clear........ what happens from here onwards will be interesting to say the least.

Official statements should really not include speculation.
I also find comparisons of SA's size vs G's size and the like silly, as they have loads of dead weight (alts, people who left EVE and weren't kicked) in some of the the corps that came over from SE, so the number on the Rankings screen isn't really accurate. I would assume that G is a bit more compact. - Proud member of the [23].
