Edited by: Orc A on 14/11/2005 15:58:18 Stain- Alliance? "This once powerful faction with its many veterans from the brutal Curse Alliance era is on its last legs. Alliances can live on thier reputations for only so long until they are challenged and outbeaten by a better, smarter, and more unified foe. G have what S-A lack, unity & participation. When you have unity in your faction and everyone participating, there is nothing and no one you cannot beat.
Like the Fountain Alliance, Stain- Alliance had become decadant, an old warhorse unable to keep up with the versatility of todays modern galatic warfare. It is said that if S-A and SE had not started a civil war for control of stain, things would be different today."
Sorry, but.... Go buy a clue. No wait, ill give you one for free...
SA are at thier prime right now. if you would have any idea what you are talknig about, it would be very helpful for your future trolling attempts.
Oh, btw... XB left SE. :p

I don't think BoB would want to take G territory, we got plenty of that. What we like to do is to slug it out with G/Iron. Always nice fights. But thats just me talking as meat shield, so don't pay attention :P

Apparently BOB dont want to take G territory
And 5 are out of the POS/sovreignty buisness.
However, G and IRON cannot field a force in enemy territory and defend the home as well. So any other entity interested in space should make a land grab soon.

Since G/IRON stated that they have no intention in staying in the south, any interested entity would probably have to deal with their return once their territory gets attacked.

Sadly no alliance in Eve can do that, at least as long as we dont get something like free clone jumping. Thats why i hope such a feature will come soon cause it will allow a lot more action.

That is all fine and dandy, but it will force the G/IRON folks back into North Space to save the miners and the roids etc...
OR, it might lead to the whole North vs South deal. In the end all it does is add some more fun into the mix. Can't let some small sized alliances roam free when they are also very attached to there own home.

RA have an absolute crap-load of space as it is, BoB seems to like all of their space to be blocked together and probably doesn't want any more NPC regions, FIX has always been about querious and only aquired FAT as it was being used to launch attacks into Q, and 5 are currently up north shooting PA, NBSI and F-E (you know, the "Great Empire War").

1) Cant speak for IRON but G has no miners so if noone tries to setup POS we dont really have to worry about our space.
2) G might have few members compared to other major powers but the difference here is the activity. I bet the normal G member has the online time of 3-4 "Average Joe alliance" members else we wouldnt be able to compete with those huge sized alliance.
Btw i think that is the way to go for really PvP orientated alliances, to have a small but very active and organised memberbase instead of those mass alliances of the past because lets be honest industrial corps have atm hardly any meaning. BoB also shows this, any dedicated PvP corp is able to earn enough money on their own, industrial corps are just deadweight and are only good at making u look bigger/stronger in the public than u really are.

Or did he actually start shooting you and run?
Or did you have 1 gun, a warp/web and jammers on? (note i would run from a hauler with this on - and i use it myself now n again).

I realise the benefit of small purely pvp orientated groups.
My post merely points out that this is prime time for some empire entities to get easy access to 0.0 space. Even a small group of ex SA corps could easily force G on the backfoot by forcing the question of sovreignty in G space.

I see. First you say we dont 'bring it'. Then when we prove that we 'brought it' apparently having just as many kills if not more than any other party in this war doesnt count somehow. If kills dont count why have turret slots on ships? You presented probably the weakest arguement ive ever seen. Obvious FE bashing, nothing more. |

depends on in what hauler you have been.. lately a lot of tech2 haulers been running up and down the pipe ( donŠt forget the +2 basic wcs strength on some of em ).. if you have +1 scram str on your ship, does it make scence to still try to engage Ęt ?

The problem is that if both sides fight in the others space, there are no real fights... ASCN could easily send a force up north and attack there but what would that achieve?
Non-involved forces trying to claim space might have a better reason but then again G/IRON would be sure to come back and I doubt that empire entities have means to stop them from reclaiming their space. The only thing that this would achieve would be an end to the G/IRON offensive against ASCN or SA (is there still one aimed at SA, by the way?).
ASCN would say that G/IRON lost and G/IRON would say that ASCN orchestrated the attack on their home territory. Judging from the speed with which the G/IRON vs. ASCN thread exploded, this would bring some interesting forum reading times.
And ex-SA corps, while maybe having a reason to hate G/IRON just got dealt heavy blows. Can they muster to mount a logistically big offensive after the defeat of their alliance?

Edited by: Darko1107 on 14/11/2005 17:42:31 G arent a Superpower, Iron arent a superpower. G cant field huge blobs, Iron can field huge blobs, G's blobs have alot more experienced pilots, with tech II guns, Iron do not, overall, I would say G are more powerful.
But at the end of the day, G/IRON are the superpower, without each other, they simply cannot field enough people, enough force, to contend with BoB or [5] for any sustained amount of time except in thier own back yard.
