i used to do that mission with a rattler killing all the triggers and going for a sandwich before the drone changes. now just do as others said, warp to 100km and snipe.
remember that sentries can only fire at things as far as your drone control range reaches, so unless you have a few million SP in drones you will need at least 2x drone range units. your mids should have a sebo, and one omnilink, but do try to get your hands on a faction omnilink. 2x faction links + bs4 + x2scope rigs and your gardes can hit up to 77km D: or 83km if you are lazy like me and forgot to switch training for 30 days and ended with gallbs 5. 
honestly you don't even need guns on the domi, highs are for drone range mods and some mild RR to keep your sentries alive. and if you do fit guns, fit downsized medium autocannons! blasters suck when unbonussed and used against small frigs... you will end up having to swap drones. since the hull has no gun bonus, you are not limited as to what you can fit. 180mm dual ACs can kill frigs in no time, specially the scram ones.
this is what i used on SiSi before patch while testing the domi changes, nothing was changed between Test and Tq, so it should still work fine. did a bunch of missions with it and never had to pulse the cap booster, i would drop it for another sebo.
oh, and the tank was generic. if you make it mission specific you can tank on two hardeners if you pimp them a little. although im not sure of what to fit on the freed low, since drone mods are already under heavy DR.

almost 780 drone DPS at 83km with perfect tracking... or 685dps at 166km with bouncers. but you will need 2x additional drone range mods and another sebo :D
that's not "pretend" DPS like machs do, its actual dps... faction Omnis are around 50m, so there's no excuse not to have em. |
