I would like to suggest what I call Training Chambers. Would work much like the Labs or Factory slot system.
Their objective is to make the learnigns faster than normal. They would boost the atributes one already have inlcuding inplants. You cant get out station while using them.
Not every station would have that.
You need to have a vacant chamber to use.
You are charged by time used (fraction) like minutes and hours.
You need skill to use that. Ex: Cybernetics 4 or 5
Can be diferent chambers for improved speeds.
You cant use them to speed up learning skills. This should remain in standard training speed to ensure game balance.
The skill must be all learned in the chamber or not . Subject to analisis of game balance. If yes, and you get out of chamber before you finish training you loose everything you learned, if not you do not loose anything but you come back to the normal learning speed after you get out of chamber.

Don't you think that will process with more Afk playing
I let my character in the chamber when i work, Afk, only to have a boost in training?

i don't think this is a good idea, it would only benefit the players who only come online to update their skill

I understand, but there is two points here.
1st - experience can only be achieved while playing, even if someone keeps themselves in the chamber they are not playing and soo not geting real experience.
2nd - ok I understand, soo there could be a time interval between the use of chambers. You train and depending how much time you have been in the chamber you canŠt use it again, for example if you use the chamber to learn any skills from lvl 2 to lvl 3 wouold require you a small interval time, but from lvl 4 to lvl 5 would require a big ammount of time. If you try to use the chamber it simply will not allow you to.
Alternatively if you use the chamber you still have the time interval but in this case you can use the chamber during the interval, like an overide mode, but then you risk overloading the training interface on your brain causing lost of skill points or even complete cerebral death wich would activate the clone. This risk should be calculated on somekind of percentage, being in the start of the "rest" interval 100% chance of overload and diminishing toward the end of the interval wich is 0% when the interval reaches 0%.
This rest interval time could be even more then the training itself, this way it would encourage only the use of the chamber to really give a boost on one specific skill that is really needed. If for example someone would take 15 days to train from lvl 4 to lvl 5, then in the chamber it would take only 5 days, but than he could not use the chamber for at least a month. Or use it with chances to loose a lot of Skill points or even death.

Another no.
Sorry, I don't like this idea at all. Even considering that I would profit from it much more than people who play all day long.

i think that eve has the best skill training system by far. no stupid experiance through combat and that, also, the time to train skill is well timed, i think any drastic changes to skill training like this would unbalance it..leave skil training alone. it is perfection as it is I love muse |

It would increase the number of afk people on the server and increase lag, only to reward them more for doing nothing; That doesn't seem like a good idea to me.
The EVE skill training as it is works great, you know what they say, if it isn't broke?
