DEPLOYMENT -- Li3 are moving out!!!

After over three months of time in the CFC, we've enjoyed the time we've had in Vale of the Silent, focusing on improving our internal FC process and getting people into proper doctrines for us to be able to (as an alliance) get out and pew pew. The time has been great in that we've been able to do a lot as our own group. There comes a time when we must set aside our desires as an alliance and join up with our coalition ~for the greater good~

Odyssey is coming tomorrow (:CCP: Gods be good to us!) and with it brings a new set of rules and opportunities that has the ability to shake up the politics of this game. We have been witnessing somewhat of a deterioration of politics amongst various groups and a certain instability arising as a result. Some could argue that is also happening within the CFC, depending on who you talk to and what you believe. We want to be in the vicinity to help our friends in the time of need.

However, the time for lounging around and enjoying the space of Vale and our defence fleets and roams ends today. In fact, immediately. Li3 Federation are going to deploy.





Things get real

EVERY SINGLE COMBAT PILOT will be involved in this! I will be looking for an incredible increase of participation and numbers from this alliance. These are the strat ops that matter and we are going to be in the zone where the proverbial **** gets real. Every single corporation that has combat pilots will deploy immediately to VFK-IV! GSF have been having some amazing times with their HAMgus (http://i.imgur.com/hUz3APU.jpg) so all you boys and girls that can fly that, let's go have some fun with these!

HOWEVER, the big one I'm going to say is that whatever we get involved in, we (Li3 Federation) are going to be the heroes. Every fleet needs them and it will be us. How?

I want to see INSANE numbers of Li3 duders that cannot fly the above mentioned ship in scimitars, scythes, dictors, hictors, ECM/WAR ships. I really mean insane numbers too! We are going to be a logistics crutch for our little venture to help stabilize the region so I expect us all to be there in numbers and an itchy shield transfer finger! ;). SRP will be in wartime mode so this should help alleviate any financial concerns, especially since pretty much 100% of the above ships are re-imbursed in full.

Fleet Commanders:I expect to see regular, scheduled short bus fleets on our forums during the next 48 hours so please be ready for that.

As for further orders, they will come during the next 48(ish) hours so please don't ask for more information. More will be released soon. Right now, I want to see ALL (combat) Li3 Federation are to get up in VFK-IV immediately. Anyone refusing to get involved with this, the CEO and I will have a chat. These are the moments you DON'T want to miss so staying behind means a) you lose out on some fun, fun, fun action and b) you likely will be removem from Li3. We need everyone and I'm expecting everyone to get involved.

Historically, Li3 have had excellent participation in conflicts of all kinds. I will be expecting the same here. Those that have been waiting for ~something~ here's the time.



Q. Where are we deploying to?
A. VFK- for sub-caps, QPO- for capitals and super capitals.

Q. Do I have to bring all my alts?
A. No. You have to bring at least one PVP pilot. You may wish to bring more than one.

Q. Can I rat between fights?
A. During war time, we will set our corp tax rate at 100% but from time to time if there are no operations running, we will temporarily lower taxes for ratting. You would be able to rat in situ with your PVP pilot or with an alt in pocket.

Q. Can I mine between fights?
A. You can mine with your alts between fleets but must dock up for operations.

Q. Will our alliance wars be a problem?
A. Alliance members are not allowed to undock in high sec unless they are in a PVP fleet. Any lossmails in high sec will result in a fine to the corporation.

Q. What doctrines are we using?
A. There will be a special post about that but in a nutshell: T2 Hamgu > T1 Hamgu > Scimitar > Scythe > Hictor/Dictor > Muninn > Huginn > other. Also, capitals and super capitals are important.

Q. What if I can't fly any of these?
A. Come with the group. Get a Scythe. Work on your training directly toward that, but fly with any tackle frigate in the meantime.

Q. Shall I bring other ships besides these?
A. No need to bring other sub-capital ships at this time.

Q. I can fly a HAM Tengu or a Scimitar but I can't afford one right now. What should I do?
A. Please speak to your corporate CEO and let him know your situation.

Q. I can fly useful ships from this list on more than one character. Shall I bring them?
A. Yes. If you like to multibox, please bring them. We recommend bringing identical ships if you are going to do this. Example: two HAM Tengus or two Scimitars, etc. If you need ships, speak to your CEO.

Q. How long will we be deployed?
A. We don't have an estimate to give you.

Q. What about our Towers and reactions?
A. You can make arrangements to service these with alts or you can find moments to jump clone back to pocket. Please talk to your corporation CEO to coordinate the right moments.

Q. Where is the best place to buy items or will we have jump freighter service between Jita and VFK?
A. VFK has a strong local market and is your best choice.

Q. We will run in all coalition fleets during this war or will we also run some L3F fleets?
A. We will be able to run some L3F fleets or L3F-lead coalition fleets.

Q. Will we have short bus fleets between our sovereign space and the deployment zone?
A. Yes. We will be running multiple short bus fleets of two types: subcaps to VFK- and capitals to QPO-.

Q. I have more questions that are not answered. To whom can I talk?
A. Please ask your corporation CEO
