Got stuck in voting loop for OOPE "Rate the Avatar above you" crowd last night.
Makes me wonder if there're any subliminal messages.
I find some avatars way more interesting and would say have much more character than Brit Green, for instance, Obenov or TheMean Machine, not to mention many others. I still wonder why Sansha Kuvakei is still there, though i bet this is the reason |

the eye is very quick to see contrast, and if it's striking enough to hold the viewer's attention, their conscious mind begins to analyze it. there's a bit of psychology behind it.

As long as there's only a few visitors and every visitor gets infinite votes, everything becomes fairly trivial to manipulate, so no point even mentioning it as a drawback of the way the top 100 is calculated.
But we weren't talking about manipulation anyway, rather relevance of the top ASSUMING that all votes would have been genuine (even if we're fairly sure they weren't and never will be).

I've come to the conclusion people are jealous of Akirei's good looks. 
Also, WTH is Mizhir doing in spot #3?? I must admit, I don't get the appeal some people seem to see in that portrait. To me she looks good for a Vherokir, but that's about it. I am kinda dreading reactivating my old Vherokir alt.

Nothing against you, it is just a race that is almost impossible to make look either good or distinctive IMO. The only one that got worse with the new character creation.

I think Khanids are in the same boat. There is definitely some room for improvement in the races.
