Just a little tip for when NORAD are involved in similar events in the future, it's ok in these circumstances to talk to the meddling 3rd parties and find out what their intentions are. We all use these events to have fun and can be quite accomodating in order to make sure we all have a good rumble.
You missed the opportunity for a really good fun 3 or 4 way fight because we weren't working with Mordus at all, which you'd have known if you'd talked to us.
Three way fleet battles for the win

Errr.... this is an announcement about Mordus and the alliances involved, so not surprisingly we're discussing them

Originally by: Arwen Atreides Please keep this informational thread clean of flames and non-pertinant posts. Unless you have something constructive or interesting to add about the Mordus Legion event please do us all a favor keep it to yourself. Furthermore if you wish to make comments about NORAD I suggest you get some updated information for alot has changed since The Merchant Marines era of NORAD.
Well as you posted those points in a public forum channel I feel that I am within my rights to respond to them.
NORAD has been niaive, narrowminded and introspective since way before BNC left and the Nemesis vs TheMM issue occured.
Your introspection and down right pigheadedness in the face of the practicalities of occupying 0.0 space has led the alliance from one disaster to another. Your democratic model has paralised the alliance since before we quit and was a source of intense frustration for 90% of successful pod pilots ever to graduate from the gutter that is Outer Ring.
I can list without stretching myself a great many Eve pilots who at one time or another have experienced the utter horror of a NORAD council meeting and have been scarred for life because of the experience.
You still suffer from the problem of having 50+ in alliance chat and about 5-10 combat pilots fighting for the regions you pretend to hold claim on, in fact the Mordus event is your single greatest moment in 6 months, not because you actually achieved something, let alone engaged successfully a hostile fleet but because you somehow (miracles do happen) managed to get 50 pilots in one place at one time to then successfully run like the wind away from the nearest fight.
The level of niaivety and utter steadfastness in the face of common sense is recordbreaking where your alliance is concerned. Long may you continue to be absolute nobodies in a fast paced ever eveolving and ever hostile universe.
You've had people of some considerable vision attempt to influence your stagnated masses before today only to trip over your own bureaucracy and be stiffled by your lack of vision.
To be honest you are a dead alliance walking and until you accept the fact that radical change to your operating model is needed you will be no more than that.
The recent Mordus incident did nothing but affirm your incredible lack of ability to achieve even the simplest of objectives. Simply put you are hopelessly ineffective at succeeding in this cruel universe and show less than no signs of ever managing to change the situation.
If it were not for the fact that the decaying husk that is the remnants of Mordus Legion represent no more than the opportunity for slim loot pickings to our elite fighting forces then we would ally with them to expediate the eradication of your 'alliance'.

Norad's democracy might be weakness sometimes but its also its strentgh.
Its an ideal worth fighting for and dying.
I liked BNC and you are great fighters but I dislike the face of Eve you are shaping.
I know you do Earthan my friend, which is why you're back in NORAD. I respect your views but believe me I know how to succeed in the cold hard corners of 0.0 space and a democracy is not the way to go.
See you on the battlefield old friend.
