So. We live in a WH, now someone dropped some enormous freight containers in the POS shield around the hangars with an orca. We wanted to pick them up again and drop them somewhere else, as they are in an annoying position.
But we are not able to. The orca does not have the cargo hold to scoop them up again (250K m3) They auto assembled when dropped.
Other then getting a freighter or offlining the POS and shooting them, is there a way to get rid of them? or move them?

Freighter or offling pos and shoot them seems like your only option. 30 days they should just disappear if not used though. Maximze your Industry Potential! - Get EVE Isk per Hour! |

that seems to be the case for anchored cans in space. But in a POS shield they dont seem to have that.
Will have to offline POS them. |

You might be able to smartbomb them if they are partially outside of the shield I would not offline your POS cause that is what they may be trying to get you to do so they can attack.
This is the beginning of the end for the convenience of transporting them then dropping it off in dead space for pick up by a freighter.
Petition it, it may be considered an exploit of some sort hopefully that will get that jack off icer banned or atleast warned. |

If the corpmate can be inside the pos and fly the orca, doubt they're laying in wait for them to drop the shields so they can ... get inside and take the orca? I doubt they want a corpmate banned just for dropping cans in a bad spot, whatever that means.
With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

Don't they have like a million hps? so if you wanted to smart bomb them that isn't really an option? |

Smartbombs won't work in pos shield anyway. Maximze your Industry Potential! - Get EVE Isk per Hour! |

this is incorrect. i've had some going on 6 months both in and outside of pos shields.

this won't work either
your only choice is to use a jf, freighter or offline the pos. |

I have had several dropped in safe spots since October of last year, and they are still there. they can be shot, even a single shot from a civilian gun will pop them (zero structure hp) but yes you would need to drop the shields to do so. I believe they can be tractored, but that also requires targeting them via dropping the shield. I do not believe they can be bumped.
I do not see any option aside from scooping them with a freighter or dropping the shield. autotargeting light missiles might work. Never tried them inside a POS before though. |

posses tend to not like any sort of aggression.. so I wouldn't recommend trying this while its online. |

Thing is. They are stuck in a POS in a C4 WH with C3 static. So, no freighter for me. Looks like I will have to offline it at an off time.
Thanks a lot guys.

for fofs you need aggression first. and its really hard for the container to agress you. the pos can agress you, but im not sure the fofs will target anything inside the shield, this would look like a major bug. |
