as the title says, i would like to know which are the hardest level 4 missions, those that can put you in nasty situations if your ship doesn't have an optimal configuration?

Eh, matter of opinion really. Some missions can give people a run for their money while the same ones prove to be a breeze for others. Obviously that's based on your skills, ships and set-ups.
Missions that typically give people a tough time - at least if they're relatively new to level IVs - are Angel and Guristas Extravaganza, Vengeance, Infiltrated Outpost, Silence the Informant and Spy Stash.
From my experience, the last stage of both Vengeance and Infiltrated Outpost can prove especially tough until you figure the ropes out. Vengeance for the sentries and named BS that deal heaps of damage and Infiltrated Outpost for the Supreme Drone Parasites that also deal immense damage.
If in doubt, take a shuttle through each mission gate you're unfamiliar with and do a little scouting.

There is no level 4 spy stash?
Hard - Silence the informant, angel extra, infiltrated outposts and theres an amarr one where you have to kill a cathedral (forgot name but it can be nasty)

You're right (dumb me - Spy Stash III was definately one of the harder level III missions though). Meant to say Damsel in Distress. Know of several pilots who have had this mission as their first level IV and lost ships in it. Those Angels dealing all damage types are a real pain.

I can solo em all in my raven without backup and all \o/
guristas and angel extravaganza are easy imo :))

Bonus level of the Angel Extravaganza LVL4 for myself, the only 1 i gave up recently, needs a lot of warp out-warp back in doing it solo |

Angel Extravaganza? My lv3 agent has given me that and I think my Brutix will be dust if I even accept it

yep same here, although i also hate the second stage (sentry guns) with the zealot

i cleared out all but the last room in a Thorax. takes time, but can be done.

Off the top of my head here is a semi-ranked list of lvl 4 warp-ins that give you insta agro.
(Minmater Agent = Angels)
1st Jump - Silence the Informant (two sentries a couple Violators and an Elite Drone Pariste)
3rd Jump - Silence the Informant (Lots of Sentries)
3rd Jump - Angel Extravaganza (Lots of Sentries, I love my Vagabond)
2nd Jump - Rouge Drone Harassment (Lots of Drones, Wolf takes a while but is safe)
3rd jump vengence (1BS 3 cruiser, one frig)
Damsel - A couple of webbing frigs
2nd Jump Vengence - A couple of Cruisers

Angel nomads from the its an angel cartel l4 important mission... CCP u sure u didnt mix the l5 missions accidentally with this one?
