Hi all! Yes, I just quit 2 accounts from Ahazi: Buxaroo Banzai (Master Bounty Hunter/Master Combat Medic) and Big'Bux (Master Shipwright/Architect/Artisan). Yes, the NGE really messed the game up for me. I went out and got another account and grinded him to crafter.....2 weeks before the NGE was announced.....waste of money and time. But I just got thru the tutorial and I took up miner profession to start. Ingame name is Buxaroo. I am on the 14 day trial but I sure can see this is going to be a fun game for me. I am so glad to see lots of ex-swg players here! I have been playing for 2 months now and I am here to stay. BTW, any of you guys get that stupid email with a "Come back and try us again for 2 weeks free" crap? I read all the junk they said they were going to implement and I just could not beleive that this drivel was what they thought they could yank us back with. Heavy Guns....like I cared. I had a heavy gun.....Trandoshan Rifle with 700dps! Not anymore!
BTW, I was Buxaroo Banzai/Big'Bux on Ahazi. I feel sorry for some of my guildmates left behind....3 left out of 70 and only because they were dumb enough to pay for 6 months to a year in advance. But this game I would consider it......not to mention you get a pretty damn good discount if you pay that far ahead. Not to mention CCP has their **** together unlike the subhumans who run SOE/LA now. I remember when I looked forward to LA games. X-Wing/Tie-Fighter you name it. Then it all went to hell when Lucas started making the new trilogy and let the Harvard grad idiots make all the decisions in regards to what people wanted to play.

Man, I am going on over 2 months now and I am having a blast. ANd what some of the other guys said I agree with: Non-consensual PvP is where it's at. No lame AOL-using carebear game here. It keeps you on your toes and is always a thrill even when ya get podded (been podded only once so far ). One thing guys though training wise. Get some skills you can work with like battlecruiser/mining so your not bored for the first couple of months and when ya got something to make a decent living with, train up the learning skills and the advanced skills and then train all the good support skills like mechanic, engineering, electronics and gunnery THEN train the big ships like battleships. Best long range goal. With the learning skills and the advanced learning skills you will cut down your training to nearly half. A person with +10 Willpower and +10 Perception will take 8 days to train from Cruiser lvl 3 to lvl 4. A person with +18-20 in the same attributes will take maybe 4.5 days.....now add all the training you will be doing to get all those cool ships and efficiencies up...long run you are a winner with LOTS more skills than the low attribute guy with the same time ingame.

Herb! Dude, I must have bought 100 million worth of weapons and stuff from you. I remember your shop right outside of Mining Outpost on Dant. I think I sold you a lot of resources also. Welcome to EVE. PVP is top notch.
