The other day I mined with my alt for about 400mil in about the same time....ore price. Reckon it'll be worth a fair chunk of change when I process it all.
Retriever bay of about 25k = 4.7m per load. 50x2 loads = 470mil.

To carve a successful niche for yourself in EVE you need to be able to out sell, out produce, out fight,-á out run, or out wit your competitors.
If you can do none of the above, your only option is to complain on the forums that somehow you are at a disadvantage using the exact same tool set-áas the rest of the player base. |

Straight up mining with poor skills/improper fitting etc etc will yield poor isk. Those that say they are getting rich... either have never seen profit bigger than high sec mining or have multiple account with barge / exhumer with orca support.

I've been mining since July of 2009. My current team is one Orca and one Hulk. I make about 55 million a day, and it is usually less than 8 hours.
But two things:
1. I mine because I enjoy it
2. It builds up surprisingly fast.
The last time I came back from Null I had a little more than a Billion left. That was about a year ago. Since then I was up to 11 Billion at one time, until I bought two CNRs and fitted them out with Caldari Navy launchers and BCSs.
You just need to be patient. You'll get there.

Well, I've mostly given up on mining for profit just for needs, but on the positive side I bought a nice mission boat and am loving it. |

use a mackinaw for semi afk mindless mining it has the largest ore hold of 35,000 m3
I fit 2 t2 strips and use t2 crystals and watch a movie while mining that I downloaded off kat or something |

Why do people still do this? It's been shown time and again that and Orca is only worth it when there are at least 4 barges on field. Park the Hulk and Orca, grab two Macks, and watch your ISK/hr ratio go up. |

actually it has been shown time and time again it's when there are 2 barges already on grid that the third ship should be an orca rather than an additional barge.
also, one hulk one orca is easier on the sanity than mack/mack. |

my usual team is 2 covetors and an orca. 22km range and cycle time of 141 seems to work pretty good, i rarely have to move. only use t1 strips though so i don't have to keep changing cystals. Do a full orca of about 182km3 in about an hour or more depends on the size of the roids.
just empire mining with a duel monitor set up 1 eve always up to watch local and the second monitor so i can read eve forum or play facebook games |
