It's not CCP's fault that your character portrait creation skills are rahter lousy...
Back to the old? Come on man, the character creator is one of the best new features since long time. Who cares it's a try-out for WoD? It works, and portraits have really been improved ever since (except maybe yours... according to yourself, that is).

I'm in the "new portraits suck" camp. Sure, the graphics are fine. Well, except for the boring lighting... seems New Eden has no "atmospheric lighting" technology. But I'm not impressed by graphics... if I want good visuals, I can go outside. It's the art that sucks. It sucks oh so bad. The faces all look samey... the clothes all look samey. It's a bland unflavored porridge, of varying shades of grey. There is not a single part of it that could be described as "fun," unlike the old art assets, which were quirky, eccentric, stylistic, and good. |
