Well I got my screenshots. Wasn't surprised to see a bubble/gate camp directly after jumping into null sec, however was surprised I wasn't caught in it.

Made it to VFK! After doing some recon I will push forwards to setting up a battle camp. But first I need to go back to High-sec and do some mining to pay for the frigates.

It would have been great to do some damage but all I wanted was to get there and get out, with my screenshot!!
Now I need to find a new home base for mining from, because Osmon is depleted. Perhaps its all the Russians constantly in local chat. I know they have a WH nearby....
Soon as I get some mining done I will re-fit and go back up to VFK to deal out some damage.

1. pods - saw them flying around while cloaked 5km from the station.
2. cyno frigates - vulnerable when they pop their cynos.
Don't underestimate care-bears! In some cases they have no idea what they are doing and they have the same guns you do!! |

Last night I went to VFK and as soon as I jumped in I noticed a reaper. Naturally I killed it. Normally I would check pilot info to make sure it isn't somebody I wouldn't want to kill but I killed that Reaper so quick I didn't know I killed it!

Naturally I investigated its contents to see what it had been eating. I noticed a strange thing. It had a collection of 3 civilian miners in it!!
This brings up an interesting question: is it true the Goons are mining to pay the rent? That particular Reaper (and you can look up my kill on zkillboard to confirm) with 3 civilian miners, combined with the rumor of Goons mining to pay rent, really makes a guy wonder.
I checked the pilot info and another surprise! The Goon was only a day old!
There are definitely some changes being made with the Goons. I will stay tuned to see what happens next. |

Just like there are rumors Local is going to be removed.

So far with the condor I received for the war effort, I have killed one Goon and been killed by another guy: NegativeTimmy - noticed he's a busy lil beaver. I tried to warn Harry but apparently ran right into same bubble as I did.
May have to hunt Timmy down just for fun. |

My far fetched opinion?
The OP has cubicle wars with his fellow Excel wielding associates.
Perhaps one day somebody in the office suggested to him he try eve. That person was possibly a Goon. Possibly that individual is either grooming the OP, or simply playing cat and mouse with the OP.
I mean look at his ambition and his ship fits. Why would a Goon go to all the trouble?
If you join the SpaceJunkys channel you can talk to him and make a more accurate evaluation. |
