Winterblink	Posted - 2005.11.21 14:29:00 - [1] My suggestion would be to make a Wiki that works 100% with the IGB as well. The idea of a community-run EVE wiki is fantastic, given the complete lack of proper documentation for the game. Whole new concepts are introduced, and we're left to our own devices to discover how the pieces fit together. I'm fine with that, discovery is good, but in some cases it can be a waste of time. So a community-driven documentation project would be GREAT and I'd certainly contribute to it as much as possible. But having it in-game would also be a bonus I think, the end result would be to get a linky put on the IGB default homepage so new users could access it to learn about things. Winterblink	Posted - 2005.11.28 18:00:00 - [2] Suggestion: Hyperlinking to the EVE forums seems like a bit half-assed, especially in the resources section. If this is to truly grow as a central content repository for the players then host your own content there. I'm not saying cut and paste someone's guide, but maybe get their permission first or have someone write one into the wiki. Well, that's the beauty of Wiki. The actual Wikipedia out there is self-policed, the people who run it do not go around and watch all the articles to make sure objectiv and correct.
