I looked for way to turn off the menu but didnt find it so apologies if im just being blind. Sometimes i want to rotate my view around the ship. Every once in a while i get a radial menu that pops up instead. I would like to turn that feature off |

I don't believe there's a way to turn it off. You can, however, set the delay on it to some ridiculously long amount of time so that they don't instantly pop up when you click something or mouse over it in space. Rifterlings Corporation is now recruiting pilots for faction warfare solo & small gang frigate PvP. Visit our website at www.rifterlings.com or join our in game channel weflyrifters to speak to a recruiter. |

Nope just the delay.
Why not use a SpaceBall input device instead, its got multi axis inputs, used in CAD/CAM etc.
THat way you could use up and down for layered menus aswell as the X and Y axis and add in twist to turn the dial.

And you can also set it to another button on the mouse, one that you would never hold down.
I'd suggest right mouse button actually, since I can't think of any reason anywhere in EVE that you would actually want to hold it down, except for panning the camera. -áMy (mostly boring) Youtube channel. |

If your mouse has more than left/right + scroll wheel buttons then they appear in the drop down list under general settings.
I, for instance, have the radial set to 'extra mouse button 1' which is the smaller of two thumb buttons on the left hand side of my mouse. 5 button mice aren't that pricey. |

I've considered setting one of them to broadcast for armor and the other to broadcast for shield, but I know that during a fight I'll never remember which is which. -áMy (mostly boring) Youtube channel. |

Thanks for the info. I use the pad on the laptop but setting the delay and mapping to right key should do it |
