TFI doesn't compare that favorably to a mach trust me I have both, the mach is a far far better ship, the only thing the TFI has on a mach is lock range.

The tempest is dooomed foverer as being the most beutiful yet least powerful battleship. Just due to stubornes. We conceptualized a LOT of different changes that woudl bring it to a power level close of the other battleships, but we are ignored, because CCP is adamant in the DUMB idea of a battleship that is equaly bad in ALL THINGS in battlefield. |

Yeah. A lot of the battleships got huge hull improvements. The Hyperion got 125 bandwidth AND 175 m3 drone bay AND a 10% damage bonus AND got an extra low slot. Cruise missles got buffed a ton so Typhoon and Raven were obviously boosted. Typhoon was turned into a dedicated missile boat and got a damage application bonus. Armageddon is a drone boat with neut/nos range bonus. Megathron got an extra low and 5% rof. Tempest was never really that great and got no real improvements. Why? |

Because ...reasons...no one rly knows CCP included but hey look there a butterfly...
Not just that other ships got hefty buffs(especially gallente) Tempest was directly nerfed with TE changes too.
What ever it was before it got worse after.

The tempest is outclassed by both the other minnie bs's. It just doesn't do anything that a phoon can't do cheaper, and a maelstrom can't do faster.
That's a Templar, an Amarr fighter used by carriers. |
