If you want to make your corp bigger and stronger, don`t trust to oldies. They can make comic from your POS.

Let me get this straight. CEO sets up POS, recruits people. People Dock in POS. CEO Unanchors Pos and Steals all their Fully fitted stuff and goes on the Run?

yes it was 24BS, my mistake
our ceo wanted to make corp stronger, he allowed to recruit some new guys one of them was well experienced Jen`Tai after 5 days in our corp he found our POS position and with help of his ex Evolution corpmates (Burning Chrome, ResOnance, Theoraden) he looted it
our corp is builded on friendship, we leaved ships outside of SMA what we can do to eliminate this problem in future? why can every corp member use my ships under POS shield, should`t it be disabled? any advice is welcome :)

Edited by: James Lyrus on 24/11/2005 14:08:46 POS robbery is a really shameful state of affairs. At the moment, it's an 'all or nothing' approach - either they can do almost nothing (I think the hangar array is covered by hangar -> other access) or they can steal the whole flippin' lot.
I have high hopes for RMR, as I'd love to be able to expand my operation, but really can't do that without granting more access than is reasonable.
There's not a lot you can do about stuff floating inside a POS shield. I _am_ hoping that there'll be a way to control 'maintainance array' access.

Well, the concept of CEO pos robbery is such that you could even launch a cheapo POS for the purpose for only robbing your recruits who dock there. Heck, I will have to give that a try! ------------ Criminal EVE Guides Evil Genius 101 Guide |

I thought you can dock ships at a POS... Is that not true? Removed signature image, resize to fit forum policy of 24000 bytes. Thanks =) - Daigon |

no, you can`t dock at pos, in fact, pos is one tower covered with force field ball big around 30km you can only store them in the SMA (Ship Maintenance Array) but they work like stone age models, nobody can be 3km around SMA when somebody wants to use them, they have limited storage and onlining them after offline night is real pain in the _ss also there are no security levels in SMA access, only CAN or CAN`T status
another issue is forcefield password, if you set it, you need to enter it every time when you re-enter system. sci-fi game with stone age functionality
i need better safety against thievery in pos and i think i am not alone
if somebody kills me and takes my what rests in fight, its ok but if somebody takes not less than 5Billions and is laughing to my face, it is frustrating
becouse we gave him friendship, trust and help

Edited by: Bobby Wilson on 24/11/2005 19:50:48 POS permissions are total crap and need much fixage. That POS also needed a ship refitting array, I hate leaving ships in space even at a POS.
On the other hand, if your CEO robs you, there's no way to fix that for POSes. If at least high ranking corp members can't empty a refitting array for example, one member on vacation can stop you from taking down a whole POS just by leaving a shuttle in a ship refitting array.

let me clear misunderstanding here
it was not ceo who robbed
5 days ago we recruited experienced player named Jen`Tai in the night hours he with help of Burning Chrome, ResOnance and Theoraden moved 24 Battleships outside shield and sure will continue if we were not online in the early morning
