Hello i got a question about if its possible to drop stuff and get stuff out of a POS in a Freighter?
Like getting moon materials out of the silo's.

not possible, you gotta use a industrial or transport ship
You can however lauch pos structures from a freighter.

the only thing freighter can do is transport from one station to another

more than likely a rumor. Freighters are designed to carry large capacity of materials to 1 station to the other, it is then the industrial ships duty to haul from that hub. You can't have your cookie and eat it too.

Can the freighter pick up from Cans (Secure & Jet) in space?

nope thats the way it SHOULD be..
If you could pick up jetcans a frieghter pilot could easily service a hundred coverters.. instead of the usual 3covs to every Ity5
having a single obelisk scoop cans would be cool.. but the poor industrial would be THROUGHLY worthless.

Hmm no Freighters arnt and shouldnt ever be able to haul cans but ...
as a POS is a structure it whould be nice if you could atleast access the Coporate Hanger (200k m3)to drop and take stuff out of it that whould make POS worth useing as a Ore storage station and move it from there to a NPC station for better refine results

Ok, another nub question. I don't own a freighter, and probably never will, but I've been curious: Since a freighter can 'launch for corp' for starbase structures, can it do the same for giant secure cans? If so, only repackaged ones, or ones with stuff in them too? |

Where did you read about frieghters accessing the POS from RMR, I thought I had read it some where. This is a must realy as it's currently a pain to try and move fuel about + Moon mins.
On a sub note picking up cans would be sweet but who would want a slow ship in a belt collecting cans! It would have a big and I mean big target sign on it .

Can the Carriers that have 5k drone space (forget the name), does anyone know what the caldari one looks like? Hope im not on the wrong channel, but a Carrier does need ful and so does POS, so i hope im not wrong.

Can you really launch POSes from a freighter? I thought it was only Outpost base structure... |

yes you can launch pos structures from a freighter. however after accidently jettisoning of them at one moon, i couldn't scoop one up again which ofcours is standard for freighters they cannot scoop things from space.

no jettison of repackaged containers and no jettison of other stuff only -> pos arrays, towers, hangars sentries....so a single freighter could carry 5-10 fully fitted pos and launch + anchor them, only fuel you need ot carry with normal indy ships
