Ok, I have heard that it can be done but how exactly? Please unless you know it will work then dont post a "hey I heard you could do it this way"...
I have tried the following unsuccessfully:
- Trade window in a station
Eve-Mail
Private Convo
All of these will not allow me to drag and successfully drop the bookmark into the window. I would greatly appreciate it if someone who knows how to do it successfully could clue me in?

Hold down shift when u drag the bookmark to your hangar/cargo... the station trade window is bugged so that cant be done (the bookmark icon keeps flashing so u cant push the accept)... u can jet it into space if it is a guy u trust?? |

If your in a corp and can see hangars drop it in theirs.
Trade window, drag to your hangar then the trade window and keep tapping accept till it goes through.
Drop a cargo can in space and have another person remove it and place it in their hold then the bookmark window.

The easiest way is to drop the bookmarks in a container then trade the container if you don't have a shared hangar to use.

Ok, I actually picked up a cargo can floating in space, and inside was 3 bookmarks.
I put it in my hangar back at a station, and it has sat there ever since.
How should I extract these bookmarks to some usable form to see where they lead, if I want to follow them that is. :-)

I asked TomB the other day if we will ever get the facility to evemail bookmarks like we did in beta. It was very useful and would help events too.
TomB said he was going to pass the request onto the relevent people.

To use a bookmark from your hangar or wherever, drag it to an empty space or a folder in your bookmark list.

drag it to near the title bar on your "places" window.
