U said it takes 4 kessy to kill a barge? Me and an old corp mate killed a mining barge [med] with 2 kessys with light missiles =============================================

u guys should go look into uemisaisen
those guys have advanced macrominingtechniques...
they use groups of 2 ships: a barge and an apoc with drones for protection.
if u can take out those guys, that would at least hurt their wallet

Today Reservoir Dogs went on the offensive and for the cost of 2 kessies - took out a Ferox and made a macro mining op run for cover. Not bad for a set of characters with less than 130k of skill points...

Originally by: Fusil Papillion ok what you gona do when you go -2.0?? you cant recycle your alts as thats a offence .. and your gona go -2.0 in about 1 kill by the looks of it .. looks to me like your outa business... oh and how you know its a macro miner and not just a person afk or doesnt speak english or doesnt have local up?
There are a series of test that you can perform - I will not go into them as it will help the macro's counter them. As for going -2.0, there are methods of bring them back into line...

Originally by: MachZERO Well... at least do those of us that actually slave our asses off mining up the mins for a new battleship a favor and convo b4 shooting...
It seems that now, if you are in a belt mining you are instantly branded a macroer. This crap is getting retarded.
I don't deny that there are macroers in eve cause I've seen them myself. And I actually agree with what you are doing.
Just please keep in mind that there are still peaople in eve that prefer to suck on roids all day instead of run missions or gate camp. Mining is still a legitimate profession in eve in case everyone forgot. and not every miner is a macroer.
Other than that... rock on...
Some of the test that we perform before we attack will get your attention... And it is easy to see who the real miners are vs. the macros...

Basically, if you're a real miner and you see a fleet of kessys fly up to you in Jita, Kisogo, etc, convo immediately or say something in local. I do a series of these tests to see whos a macro'er and who's not. I have yet to kill someone who wasn't a macroer (to my knowledge, as I have not had a single complaint yet, just some taunts like "oooh you wasted 30 million big deal i make that back in an hour"). It's that kind of stuff that incises my furious anger and my swift retribution shall rains upon them.
Macrokilling tip of the day: If you find your sec status low, tag your alt along with your other char (or a friend) on a few missions to improve your sec status. Keep it as close to 0.0 as possible.

Chalk up another one for the Macrokillers :)
Excellent job to everyone who participated. It was nice to see such a big group come together on short notice and perform well. Even better, the Macroers are starting to run away from us when they see us...meaning the mere presence of a macrokiller has an effect. Yes, we're here, and Yes, we're gunning for you :)

I totally agree with you guys... one question however.. if you are going to get your sec status up, is it enough for you to tag along ? or do you have to actually shoot on those missions to get sec increase.
Well not only missions but also Complexes gives nice sec rise I have heard. ---------------------------------------------- "When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I felt as a child, I thought as a child: now that I am become a man, I have put away childish things." 1 cor. |

got a nice setup with a cata + 8 ion blasters with 15 rounds of antimatter in each one and in lows 3 damage mods, lock and load!
ive taken out 2 macroers with this setup. (at once that is)
u know the funney thing is, all the macroer needs to do is press escape and petition you guys for USEING DISPOSABLE ALTS, that is a offence CCP dont like, i dont know what the punishment is but ur not ment to make alts to kill in empire, then recycle them and repete
i wonder when the first macroer will smartup and petition one of u nubs for recycling alts and harrising him.
be a man and use ur mains or stop ur stupid acts

I have no problem with my character's sec rating dropping. The tactics we use, most of the time have little effect on our charaters. You'd be surprised how easy it is to maintain a half way decent security rating on a character.
Never mind the fact that a Macro Miner needs to petition first, drawing attention to the details of his operation. I am sure that is out of the question for all intended purposes...
"CCP - Pandemic Thinking Killed my character named "Mining23". "Mining25" and "Mining31" then deleted his character. Please ban him for an exploit!!!"
Yeah... That is going to happen...

The Macro'rs I have went after have never said so much as "BOO" at anytime during an attack. I have taken their ore and destroyed it, and the most I have gotten out of them is a new jetcan. If I were ever to destroy an actual miner, he be knee deep in isk before he hit the station

if you feel like it, drop by the first ore (not the icebelt) in Osmomonne, and look at greenhot and his merry macroers trash the place with cans.

If there is anyone out ther who wants to have cheap killing fun and help rid the universe of the macro scum (seeing as CCP have trouble finding them)come and join up. Make a new charater to fly a kessie idealy with rocket skills. All the loot we get goes to make new ships and mods although donations would be appreicated.

You Don't. They take you down. But a good team effort and the Macro's ship goes down first...
Resting now and a nice -0.2 Security Rating...

There is an easier way to hurt them in a 0.5 and above. Use an indy or bigger ship and strip their contis of their mining stuff. If they are mining in another ship, push these ships away.
But remember to still petition them!
