Ha ha Goons just put out a video begging Test members to, I don't know what. Something about Goons being our friends despite invading us and the people helping us not being our friends or something.
It's pretty funny, some ace footage of structure grinding caracals.

They haven't taken any stations. Sort Dragon gave them 4 by betraying his PL mates. And they dropped one in an empty system. We assume it's meant to be a present for Beffah after we take Fountain back.

If you're genuinely happy that Mittens performed a piece of metagaming that screwed Kearl, the executor of Pandemic Legion, to get 4 useless stations which, funnily enough, you're now in the process of losing because funnily enough PL have decided to help N3 and Test because funnily enough, PL seems to want to support the dude who controls the pursestrings and can disband the alliance with a click.
Betraying PL to help Sort Dragon has to be one of the dumbest pieces of metagaming in Eve history. Perhaps only rivaled by blueing an entire alliance of Dreddit alts.
Mittens used to be a player, but he's lost it now buddy.

Frankly I'd be astonished if either Goons or Test is killed as a result of this conflict. I also expect that at some point we'll be blue again although perhaps not as fraternally as when the Goons bootstrapped Test into sov.
As for narratives I've always enjoyed stories and Eve players spin some rather wonderful ones, none more so than your very own Directorate.
As for PL it was a Christmas-come-early present for us. Before PL and N3 helped us Test and Tribe were losing against the 16 or so CFC alliances, putting up a valiant defence but outnumbered and outgunned. I don't think it's just "narrative" to say that it was a bit of a woopsie to push PL to our side when they'd previously shown every indication of being happy to shoot whoever looks the most tempting target. Or are you saying it's just "narrative" that this Kearl person exists and is somehow important to PL?
