It's a solid template, so why shouldn't it be copied? Would be kinda stupid to reinvent the wheel so to speak, if perfectly workable templates are readily available to use. |

Ignore the other posters in this thread - this is theft of intellectual property. You don't need to register a copyright to have copyright on a piece of intellectual property like this. I suggest you take the person who stole your intellectual property to a court of law and sue for damages. |

if they are impersonating then yeah, its clearly against the rules. for instance if they claim to be recruiters for your corp/alliance and scam with it, you can report it.
most corps/alliances don't give a crap if some dude is scamming with their name, so no one reports it. but that doesn't mean that its "ok" to do it.
if they are not scamming with it, and its a honest corp that took the template because they liked it, take it as a compliment and make a new one. |

If you mean they stole you template by: they used bold section headers, descriptive text, bullet points and graphics available to everyone, then yes, they stole your template.
Suing them in real life seems perfectly logical.
A sternly written letter or war-dec is also acceptable.

I suggest you immediately retain a space law firm specializing in space intellectual property disputes.
I can refer you to a respectable organization if you're interested, though you better have deep pockets, space lawyers aren't exactly cheap.
