This thread makes me sad, I remember the old times and my heart breaks.
I was so amazed of what Xetic was, the idea of democracy in a game of pain such as eve was probably the reason that I paid my subscription
Now lets leave the sentimental crap out, Xetic had taken the fall from inside. I remember even now how people in alliance chat where mocking me and laughed at me when I was telling them that the alliance will fall apart in a matter of weeks not even days, if they do not take the guns(I still have the chatlogs)
Ignorant arrogant bastards that made the dream a nightmare, Xetic was full of them. I cannot blame DDC/ CLS for what they did, I would have done the same thing BUT not the same way, CYVOK has problems working under pressure I think when fire is near it seams that bad decisions are made.
For those that say NBSI corps did not put a fight, they is wrong, MAZA and Black Lance where there along with Pilots of Honor (btw I miss you guys) these where the good days of MAZA. We where noobs in pvp but learned how to put a fight because of supremacy, we own what we are to this guys, fighting a much better opponent itĘs a pain the ass, but itĘs the best training that you can get, I personally got popped more than 20 times per week, but hell that was fun.
Anyway back in the subject again, MAZA the 30 active pilot corp managed to defend immensea for a while, we retook the station with help from other immensea corps and actually saw that PvP itĘs not only Blobs and sniper fleets, we enjoyed it as much as a******being in a hardware store.
After that hell came to us, Shinra came and pwned us( that was painfull), 2 days later ATUK and the others from The Five joined the fight. It was impossible for us to put a real fight, yes we where running and hiding in SS, but If you think it for a little bit what would you do when you are outnumbered 1/10? That makes us cowards? I think not.
I would like to note that, DDC/CLS where the high command of Xetic, during the war I remember quite well that no orders where given. It was a bit odd 2 weeks, no orders, no official internal stand no anything. We all believed the following, that our Government has a secret plan or something like that has to stay secret, therefore we waited, we stayed there and tried to harass the enemy(the only info we had was that we will have our back up soon)
After many ship losses and our morale crippled, we learned from third factors that DDC/CLS are leaving the alliance! We where like????!@#$!#@%%????? WTF???
You got my point, I am not talking about the Xetic carebears of which they where surprised too but who gives a fą about them, they have let destiny to punish them, but us the other half of the alliance who fought in regions other that Feuth and Impass, we felt cheated, and for what? For a war that CLS started.
When I refer to DDC and CLS, it would be wise for me to be clear of who I mean,
The high command of those two corps and not the main core of the corps, miners, PvPers and anybody that has nothing to do with managing.
We NBSI, have nothing against the citizens of ASCN we will not hunt them if they leave the alliance, BUT we will look for anybody that serves CYVOK and have knowledge of the past and still supports them.
We felt betrayed, we are betrayed, we still feel the same way and we cannot just forget about it. NO, we remember who we where, we respect what we are, we respect more what made us, an act of treachery! NBSI will fight the forces that made us strong, we will fight ASCN and The five till the end, we have to give them what they gave us in the past, HELL!
P.S This is not an official stand, I write for my self and nobody else, the above is how I saw the facts and they serve only me, itĘs more likely that other pilots from NBSI feel the same way but this is not by any means official
