A contest that actually looks interesting! No alliance voting blocks. Exploration in the sense of looking around EVE (not the mini-games).

It looks like the entries will be limited to one per account but a clear statement might be best.

This is great! I already have several of the Group 1 images from previous screenshot excursions, but it will be fun to do again. Great to see the Sisters of Eve are promoting interstellar tourism.

Does the system clock requirement refer to the EVE game clock or do I really need to have the operating system clock visible in the screenshots? An example screenshot would have helped to avoid any confusion.

I have a question about the planet screenshots. Can the screenshot be made in Planet Mode view?

I'm assuming the later parts will take contestants into low or even null sec, is there any ruling on being cloaked in the screenshot?

Does this exception also cover the "Your ship must be visible" part? Because I made one or two of my screenshots via "Look at" before you edited in this rule.

How fast/slow will we get the prizes after the submission ?

I'm a new player and would like to participate in this event, but i have no idea how to find those places :(

Can a dev clearfy if the char that post the pictures must be the same that have taken them all? Being both from the same account.

This will be great fun. Even though this doesn't involve a special in-game camera device, it's a personal mission of mine to play every video game with a photography mechanic. And most are terrible. Screenshot contests are often the better way to go.

Also live events are lore driven... byt there is nothing yet there from SOE IC

While I understand the prizes won't be given out until the end of the contest, will we be notified early if our entries fail to pass muster?

I'm pretty sure my entry meets all the criteria but I'd hate to find out after the contest was over that I missed some minor detail. Especially given the amount of time available to retake shots.

I'm looking at the Week 2 list, and it asks that we photograph "Dense Arkonor". Umm, am I missing something? Doesn't Arkonor only come in Crimson and Prime variants? Ore [ha] is it something else entirely?

Also, to clarify, we need to have both the Help chat and Image comp windows both open separately?

If this isn't the right place to be asking this, I'm sorry, but do most of these targets require you to scan them down? And if they don't require them to be scanned down, where would they be found? Also, is the Traumark Installation a singular location or are there multiple?

Who should open the Data container? Who makes a screen shot? Or i can ask a friend to open?

I fail to make a link between the contest main theme and this part. And considering that the Help channel is the biggest troll nest in EVE, I consider this part as mission impossible and quit the contest.

Do we need to get a shot of some Prime Arkonor mined in our cargo bay, or just a shot of a Prime Arkonor asteroid in space?

Apologies if this has already been asked but, does the "Your ship must be visible and uncloaked in the screenshot." apply to the Help channel answer one? I did it while in station with the Help window obscuring most of my ship. Is that OK?

Edit: Actually, the market screen is obscuring my ship in this screenshot too.

There contest rules state, that there will be 30 total images to take released in 3 groups of 10. The latest group only has 9 items though, so is there something missing?

I have a picture of the EVE gate which I took during my travels about for Week 2. Can I use that or do I need to go back and take another? It's no problem either way as I have to go and get a pic of the Monolith but just wanted to know

This is disappointing, to say the least. At this point, unless someone from CCP posts otherwise, I'm going to assume that the entries weren't verified before the grand prize was announced and that drawing was invalid.

The thrill of doing the contest has faded, all I'm left with is a vague feeling that I got scammed.

I'm forced to say this reminds me a lot of the Shirts for the New Eden Open.. remember that event held almost a year ago ? Everyone who participated was supposed to get a unique shirt, but that still hasn't happened yet.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad I participated. I enjoyed finding the places (well except for that WH, that was several hrs of my life I'll never get back lol). The prizes/gifts are secondary to that, and in the grand scheme not significant to me. But with that said, it just leaves a sour taste that you do the event, are promised something, and then are strung along for weeks or months.

Perhaps in the future, if you aren't ready to deliver, don't say you will. And then if you do decide to give out ships, or items, to people that participate, then in a week, or month, or so, down the road, they can log in to a pleasant surprise.

Heh. I guess "early next week" didn't work out either. Or does the Icelandic week start with Wednesday?
