With all the hype about new ships, which lets face it are all good and cool, but we've had new ships before and they'll all be the norm soon and we'll all be winging about how nerfed they all are ;)
Anyway, i heard rumours that RMR is going to come coupled with a storyline, but with the storylines being put on the backburner lately, im a bit worried that RMR storyline will get dropped. After reading the Titan descriptions, there is some very cool stuff there.
So, was there an RMR storyline, and Ovuer mate, is it still going to happen?

I think it'll involve a huge, epic story changing event to begin with which will then be forgotten about half way through and everyone involved in the arc will be left in limbo for months and months.

I believe that Ganuton will be allowed to go ahead and make a awesome story line, and i personally dont care if minmatars get pwned to death, a good story line is not about who wins, a good story line is the excitment and fun it entails playing along with it.
So im going to believe Oveur is going to realise that people love storylines and stop taking Gnauton off them to do all the other important stuff that needs doing.
It is my dream, and it might even come true
Then if this happens i will love everyone long time.

one thing i don't understand is why starting events with obviously having the idea to continue them with the next epic addition?
tbh i think that creates 2-3 months of nice events, great story arcs, and sparkling fireworks of great ideas not only from CCP but also inspires the community and then you get frustrated by 6-7 months of nothingness....
everything seems to be stuck!
the whole IGS gets set back to randum 'we are the uber ebil slavers' or 'we are the freedom fighters for our people'.
i know you can't keep an event going for almost a year or longer but maybe some of those arcs could be split into smaller events with 1 or 2 weeks break in betweenŠ.
i think it worked great with the whole insorum arc tbh although i can only tell from news and forums as i picked up on that too late but the story was going on for months...
to sum up i want to say: great work on the story and events in general CCP and involved players and maybe there is a possibility to expand the duration of each event line so the long months before new content patches get a little shorter

I love the description of the Titans, too. More words from God...
But each time there is a new patch on the testserver I check out the Khanid bloodline to see if CCP found a better description. A huge disappointment.
I guess current events aka Tetrimon will find an end before Kali so factional warfare can start with Kali. That's a long time. I think Tetrimon is connected to the Doriam assassinated event. I could be wrong, though.
The Minmatar are still missing their big event. I hope the Krusual will get the upperhand over the Sebiestor. I would love to see some more friction between the liberals and the patriots in the Caldari State, too.
There are so many possibilities. It's a shame that CCP seems not to have the time for the background story but I hope there will come some interesting stuff before Kali to explain the reasons for factional warfare.

you think factional warfare will be coming? think of all the whining... 'boohwoo i can't go there or there....' i'd say all that can be done is a 'factional warfare light' edition, maybe even a '0cal' version...
it would limit people too much *****e not binding themselves to a single faction i guess.

I guess they would align corps to each faction rather than individual?
Our corp is quite diverse, in terms of RP anyway. While most don't care, those that do are either pro-minmatar and death to amarr.
Where as I'm a Caldari who has spent more time in Amarr regions than Caldari ones.
I r Khanid.
Where as I would lead to Amarr/Khanid/Caldari, others in corp will lean to Minmatar.
With the gallente loyalists shot on sight obviously.

My guess is that you 'enroll' for factional warfare and can thus decide if you want to take part or not. And boy will Amarr be pwned :P

Content in EVE is divided into dynamic and static content. Dynamic content moves like the storylines, static content are things like ship descriptions.
At Fanfest people were told that after RMR the content devs will focus more on dynamic content.
As you can see in the sticky CCP is also hiring content dev's, all in all the signs are positive.
