Also, black legion and pandemic legion often hotdrop ships in VFK. They are not carebears really, hence ineligible for my prize.

I recomment if you want goons to shoot themselves you can use your goon forum to promote it as well, let me know what they think of it...

I don't think you get the point. If a high sec player is going into null solo, he obviously doesn't care about his K:D ratio. He knows he's going to die a lot. And a lot of those times it will be at gate camps, where he's outnumbered and outgunned. There's a reason we call ourselves kamikaze bears or suicide bears. If we cared about our KBs, we'd do something with a lot better odds.

To be fair, harry is a 4 month newbie and I was certainly not doing solo pvp in nullsec when I was this young in the game.

He is doing this because he thinks its fun I assume. And in all honesty I think it would be interesting for alot of new players in highsec who are interested in fleet operations in nullsec with inexpensive ships that they dont care about.

OP if you want to harass people in VFK, then stop training for a bomber. A solo bomber has ****-all target selection against what you'll be finding in VFK.
Those cyno ships you cycled your blasters twice on are suddenly multiple volleys of torps because the applied damage is awful.

If you're blaster specced, use a daredevil. Fast, and rapidly kills anything it is able to.

STOP FITTING WARP STABS HOLY ****. Your main threat is bubbles and this achieves nothing.

IF you want to actually catch things worth making people cry about, use a cloaky Sabre.

You should have the skills you need to do what you want to do within about a week; the whole "waiting for bomber skills!" thing will leave you sour and disappointed. Stop listening to HS folk telling you solo bombers are the **** - they've never tried it themselves and it takes a lot of knowledge to pull off.

Range and kiting are what you need to get kills, and you can do that NOW and cheaply.

I'm curious why a bunch of Goons and CFC members are in this thread trying hard to not care about it.

I found it cool that actual empire carebear went to 0.0 to kill ships. So at first I shared with them a little bit of deklein intel, i gave advice on where to camp, how sov works, why people aren t too attached to cyno ship (and why people crying over a cynoship loss should be purged). I told them about sov warfare, and systems that are actually farmed.

They reacted like kids who don't listen to grown ups because they are in their puberty crisis age: covering their ears and shouting that I am too dumb to understand their teenager motives.

So yeah we goons have a group of teens at home who block you out of their room if you try to reason them, they all want to ride the same horrible bike and they mess up the neighborhood. Give it some time it's just a phase.

actually I just found out you can do something really helpful if you want to fight goons, come with your big fleets and clean out all gatecamps on the way to VFK, for sure there will be some really smart people who want to block the carebears from coming to the Event area, if you would do that with your fleet, that would be highly appreciated...

I don't want to "fight goons," as I am one. I have no incentive or motivation to harm the CFC or GoonSwarm, nor do I expect any assistance I might lend you to do so.

Here is my first bit of help: there will be no "really smart people who want to block the carebears from coming to the Event area," because none of those "really smart people" read this hole-in-the-wall section of the forums dot EVE Online. You will likely encounter the usual NPC dwellers like Mordus Angels along your way, but there will be no orchestrated resistance. What you need to realize is that numbers work differently in nullsec versus what you know in Empire: what you would call a "blob," we call a small, roaming gang. If a significant number of you make it past the random, unaffiliated people you will undoubtedly stumble into a long your way, then you will be "blobbed" by a 50-200 man slosh op led by a newbie FC. Compare this to the thousands of pilots who were simultaneously logged in for several days straight in VFK during the 2012 headshot attempt by Pandemic Legion.

In short, you will either get no attention at all or you will get a comedy roam; or, you might die en route to a small gate camp or a few stealth bombers. Please post a trip report after the event is concluded. If there is a battle report to be made, then I will provide one from the CFC perspective of the fight.

The reason you haven't been blaster out of VFK is because you are not considered a threat. sure you will kill cyno pilots (thanks for that by the way, the 10 min wait takes ages) and sure you will catch the odd person off-guard, but at the moment you are less of a threat than gate rats.

The war is popular enough to be dominating the news sites and pushing mad ani into the twitch top 10. Most of us watching and waiting for this event are doing so to see the spectacular failure it's going to be. Even if you all manage to show up, and even if you all make it to VFK, most people there are docked AFK alts. We're deployed... That means we're all in fountain.

You call it unexpected but it's not. This is what will happen. Maybe 75% if you are lucky of the signed up people will show up. Of those at least half will not make it to VFK, that's if any of you do (honestly I expect you'll get pipebombed). Once in VFK, there are two main outcomes:
1. A small contingent of CFC obliterate most of you and the rest scatter leaving you just a core group. (these are high sec newbies remember, they won't realise it's over til it's over)
2. Nobody will even react to your existence and most of you will get bored after about an hour.

So much time spent trying to convince Harry to not waste his time.

Do you know what pipebombing is? Most noobs traveling into null for the promise of annihilating goons won't have fun with it. Neither will they have fun with the gatecamps. At the moment all I can go by is your killboard, which shows this month you have killed:
1 Covert ops (which was a cyno, not sure why anyone would regular cyno in a covops...)
1 Destroyer (which was cyno)
3 industrials (2 of which were cynos)
22 frigates (all of which appear to be cynos)
3 capsules

So from this I can only assume the kill you are talking about is an unfit bestower with 3 command centers in it. Careful, you're scaring me.
