Originally by: Harisdrop You noobs of course it will be in the next two weeks. I saw the test server and it has no show stopper. I dont think they played with the client much except for adding all the items to the market.
Besides they love throwing a ton of new stuff so everyone is playing Eve during the Christmas Holiday
Aww, the noobs are the cutest.
Are we forgetting that cute little bug that allowed stations and gates be destroyed? I bet there a half dozen more subtle show stoppers that haven't reared their ugly heads yet. CCP can't even fiddle with the GUI without breaking things. At best we will get the patch on time, and wait an extra month for the supplement patch that reactivates all the features they bugged and had to disable.
I, don't, think, you, trust, in my self-righteous suicide. |

Originally by: SengH after getting off test... theres alot of things broken about to get started writing bug reports but heres a small summary.
1. Nos/neuts broken 2. NPC aggro totally broken. I just killed off half a spawn and the BS was 8km away happily trucking around the belt 3. High sec npcs got mixxed into the spawn tables in 0.0 and when they did get aggroed... I tanked a dual BS spawn in a BC that wasnt even set up for tanking that particular dmg type.
Off to write bug reports now.
1. Should work again, they were being changed to affect NPC's. 2. This is getting fixed. 3. Not sure I understand correctly, Battleships sometimes get high level frigates as support in 0.0, have been doing that for years already.

Unless your eyesight isn't 20/20, in which case the font might well drive you insane.
I know lots of people have whined about this already, but any font where you can't distinguish "13" from "B" is not a good font.
(Disclaimer: I haven't managed to get on the test server since Wednesday (3756?), so apologies if they've fixed the font since then.)

*notices how tomb could have commented on the release date to kill this thread and chose not too. ------------------------------- I have an idea.
How about you get banned 15 minutes from the server everytime you take a sec hit ? --Lady Beeblebrox |

I heard the instas nerf was rolled back though. Any reason why?

Because it was just a test, not a RMR feature.

I got this bug on the test server where I died in my battleship, this obviously needs a patch -- I suggest you boost tanking another 50-75%, and nerf dmg mods so the stacking penalty is more severe, and maybe half dmg on all ammo in conjunction with the additional tanking boost.

We are still on target for a release this month. QA is in high gear, the number of bugs and defects is on the decline. Oveur posted a blog announcing the Features page and lots more, this is one of the pre-cursors to deployment. I mentioned in the blog announcement that the patch notes would be released later next week. This is also another one of the pre-requesites to to deployment.
As much as I would love to release a definitive deployment date, we want to give us a little wiggle room in case something unforseen happens.

Thank you Kieron for the information. I for one can't wait for Red Moon Rising. |
