support the people of CCP by putting this digg story on the front page of digg. this would ensure maximum exposure and give more people to play on its server.
this is the nightfreeze scam. yes its an old story but its still a damn good read no?

Yeah I'll probably be put in the box again for that one... but that other story has always just annoyed me, I want to stab the author, and to be honest I really don't believe it's true.

This is the first time I've read this whole thing..never made it past the second part before. I wish that I had, though..it illustrates beautifully the naivity and total disregard for the proven impending consequence to any evil action.
if you screw people over you either die of guilt and lonliness or your conscience prevails and you learn better from it. pirates and scammers are usually silly immature children or people that have grown physically into their bodies but not much else. in either case they usually haven't learned lifes most important lesson..
EDIT: There WERE several inconsistencies between the story and the game, but the message still rang out in the end..

The story of Nightfreeze and his "scam" has been around since just after the games' release.

It was, as far as I've gathered, written on the SomethingAwful.com forums, and is pure fiction. SA.com get that sometimes, people writing stuff and passing it off as real trying to sound cool.

Stopped after seeing the guy say gold. Bloggers annoy me as it is (well the vast majority do since they do nothing but *****/report about something we all saw on national news), but people who don't even pay attention to what they cover need to be beaten.
