We are just a small group of friends that came over to EVE from playing FreeWorlds (a Freelancer Mod).
We are all really getting to like the game and expanding our play aspects, when out of the blue we have war declared on us by M3G4 Corp.
After doing some research and going through the forums extensively... it seems that are friends M3G4 Corp have been around.
They say that someone is paying them to kill us "because one of our guys made someone else mad" but wont say who or what was done.
But it will take 100M for us to not be attacked and for the original contractor to be targeted instead...
All seems fishy to me.
I would like for some people to post their thought aswell if they could.
I just dont see why someone would want to take the fun out of the game for 20 or so n00bs just to have a little isk, that we dont have.
Me and some of the other guys worked hard to get a battleship. So we are dropping out of the corp and going back to a noob corp. We have no chance against a few pvp'ers, as our skills are limited and mostly in learning.

There are LOADS of pvp corps out there just being bored, im sure there are people out there that will help you for a small amount of isk.

For a small fee of 20million isk I could train your pilots to defeat merckiller. Once he falls the rest will fall. You have nothing to fear if you hire me

M3G4 corp used to be quite a large pvp corp that liked to declare war on alliances but last I saw most of them had left and joined other corps.
I doubt they have been hired by anyone else to be honest esp if there asking for 100mil and they will declare back on their employer, hardly a good way to get business now is it  .

The problem is that, with the exception of our corp leader, I doubt we have more than 5 members with more than 2M skill points and those have no more than 3M. We have about 10 members with less than 500k skill points which is a full 30% of our corp members). While I hope that PvP is in our future, right now we just don't have the skills to stand up to anyone else, no matter how lame they may be.
I think it's pretty sad that a corp that can't win against people they own rank has to come beat up on a corp that has been around for less than 2 months. But, I guess some people get all hot and bothered by kicking people smaller than they are.
Oh well, one day we will have enough strength to fight back, but until then......

I started the corp being attacked here. I am 8 months old with 6 million skillpoints, 1.5 mil in learning,about 4 million in mining/hauling. As friends from another game come in around 2 months ago, my corp has grown to 31 members. That makes me the only member over 2 months old. I just recently unlocked level 4 missions, and I guess we were seen by this "merc" corp doing them. Right in the middle of an Angel extravaganza, war was declared on us. I'm pretty certain I didn't step on anyone's toes, so someone please tell me how a 2 month old player can do "432 million" in damages to another corp making them hire M3G4? Anyways, I guess there's nothing we can do without money.....and no way to make money if we can't undock. Or, are one 8 month old and 21 two month olds supposed to compete against even two 3 year olds? I don't expect anyone to help for no money, but any help to save this 'lil corp would be much appreciated. If not...I can just shoot them with my mining laser 2's, and we shall prevail.

Unfortunate.
You guys should split up, and hang out in scattered systems for a bit. Stay away from busy systems like Jita, Rens, etc...
You should also have someone fly to some out of the way system and move your HQ there. Do not make your HQ the system that you are based out of until you have enough players to protect against threats.
Do not feed them kills because it will keep them entertained, and they will hang around. Bore them and they will go on to the next soft targets.

Enough cheap T1 frigs can kill cruisers and battleships.
Just train enough to use warp jammers and webbers with some close in guns, Blasters or Auto Cannons work well along with rockets and FIGHT BACK!
Oo you get blown up, there goes a 150-200k frig with 50k worth of gear :)

Agreed, just start doing frigate wolfpacks. 31 frigates at once can take out almost any single ship that doesn't have smartbombs.

Intresting post but inaccurate ....
Firstly, as of last week M3G4 consisted of 2 active players(1 US,1 UK) with 3 War Declarations.
Secondly, FreeWorlds consists of 24 active players, running level 4 missions, who on "any day" can out number use 12/24 to 1 or 3 to 1 when refering to Battleships.
Now whether you belive this is "Gank or a Prank" is purely
for you to make you own mind to make up ... but with 12 to 1 odds at worest and mostly 23 to 1 odds then personally I wouldn't complain ..

I would like to draw you attention to the current M3G4 Articles of War.
1) M3G4 operates a "No Podding / Pod Locking" policy. Please observe this rule unless prior agreements have been agreed. Failure to comply "Will" ensure all other agreements void. *
2) All client information is confindential, under "No" circumstances will this confidentiality be broken.
3) Any surrender / ceasefire request are to be made to either Merckiller or *******. During these "requests" any hostilities will be suspended.

Maybe there doing it for fun or maybe they have been paid ... but with 24 to 1 odds and a warning its far better than most receive.

Um....you left out the "432 million- variable", since you are shooting for accuracy. The M3G4 information officer has also failed to shed light on what a 2 month old player could do to rack up 432 million in damages. (Yes, I do understand the whole Merc confidentialty thing). Seems a generalized explaination could take care of that. As far as all those pretty odds I just read, I've watched what one 3 year old player can do to 10 ships. You won't be getting cash from us as we don't have it.

My only suggestion is to contact KIA or a guy named Rekindle.
KIA are a bunch of bored pvpers who have nothing to do except help newbs and Rekindle is the CEO of a bunch of whiny *****s like you guys....

I will believe the M3 guys (about having a paying employer) when said employer steps forward and says that he hired them. Until then, have fun trying to find us.
(And no, I'm not going to fight them, as that would be giving them what they want. I intend for them to be so bored trying to find someone to fight that they will move on and prank/gank someone who has time for them.)

I only posted this in hopes of clarifying if my thoughts were correct in thinking this was nothing more than a scam.
It seems that we are called whiners.
I would love to fight...
But if learning skills didnt take so long... I would be more than happy to.
I will fight one day.
But as for now, my "TOOL" (that you refer to as a BattleShip) that I use to make money will stay docked.
