I dont know if anyone else has the same problem or not with this card. Eve just looks unpolished and not as smooth grapically with this card. It actually looked better on my old AT 9800 pro.

Probably a driver setting, try enabling AA and AF for eve.

I use 4xAA and 16xAF on my 6800 (only at 1280x1024) and EVE looks so nice. I actually put off getting a 7800 because I mainly play EVE and it runs fine as it is.

I'll just have to keep pluggin' along with my overclocked GeForce FX5700LE.

What you don't like eating ramen noodles for months so you can afford to upgrade your comp?

Pretty much. That's how it goes for me too, except I run with 8xAA. The sun in one particular system in Lonetrek seems to chug whole comp down regardless though... forget which one.

And I am just in love with my newly bought 6800 GT OC from BFG. Mainly cause the nvidia drivers own, and I was able to convince them to run 2 instances of eve, with one on each monitor. :) or 1 spanning 2 monitors. other then that 2 inch break between screens. lots a :)

If you are going from an ATI card to a Nvidia one you will notice a huge difference in the colour quality, virtually all Nvidia cards I have seen appear washed out and over-bright when compared to an ATI. You will likely get used to it after awhile.

On the newest gen of Nvidia cards aka 7800 series and actually some of the 6800's image quality is just as good as ATI ~ before those yes ati had a definate edge. My 7800 actually has quite better color quality/image quality than my ATI 800XL, it's so much sharper ----

Quit yer complaining! I'm still using a GF3 TI200 overclocked to TI500.
And... I'm only just putting in a GF5700 LE that I bought last year. You think it'll be much improvement over the GF3? (Considering I'm buying an entirely new PC just to fit it) ;)

Not to mention that nVidia can actually write drivers.
