Yeah i still have all 1000 shares in the corp but i cannot run for CEO as the corp doesn't actually exist anymore... i assume all the info is deleted from the DB after DT? but i'm no expert...
Suffice to say i was told that there was no way of gettign it back :( **EDIT** damn typo's -----------------------------------------------

don't get me wrong but why post about this on the forum? i mean. i don't post every screw up i make. because if i did i'd be banned on the forums by now. You have a petition system for this. Stuff like this can be traced back by logs and i'm quite possitive that if this really happend and you really did have a set of +4 implants in your corp hangar when you closed you 1 man corp you'll get it back with the petition system. If you don't get it back is probably because you never had them or you still have them somewhere in a shuttle but you forgot it was there.
Very simple.
Good luck, Greets Archa

i'm sorry to say this but STFU...
theres no doubt at all that i had the implants in the 1st place. i have made an error and wanted some feadback about what i could do next. although i have been playing this game since release i dont know everything! i was simply looking for some info about whether i could re-enter this corp.
and may i add the replies i have received from the community have been nothign but helpful and constructive until idiots like you start trolling! -----------------------------------------------

yeah ur right, this was worth posting, so that we all know not to do it, how to avoid it, and that ccp doesnt give stuff back once it has benn liqidated. im not sure but if u got back in corp maybe there would have been chance of it still being alive. oh well i guess.

Well, if you cannot get the items back, then try to argue about the amount of money you received for the corp liquidation. However, the GMs will need a way to verify what was destroyed, if they cannot verify this it's hopeless indeed.
So, don't look for the items themselves, but trace of the existence of those items: if for exemple you happen to still possess an audit log container wich has a log entry about them. Or their purchase transaction logs. Or the name and time of the missions wich gave you those as rewards wich may be kept in the standings sections of the corp you were missioning with.
Sadly, while I'm writing this, I'm wondering if it would be usefull at all. In fact, ways to 'get around' such logs are just too easy : like jettisonning the items and having a friend picking them. I bet GMs are faced with countless scamming reimbursement attempts made against them (for exemple by ISK ebayers) and their rules in this matter may sound harsh and unfair, but they have a pretty good reason for it, don't you think?
Good luck, and pray that those logs the GMs will have to check still exist ;)

Have you tried to reform the corp using the original founder?
If not the GM's are your best course of action. They maybe able to help.
Good Luck.

Wow that sucks.
I suggest becoming a griefer and hurting as many people as you can, each time you hear a pod squish you can think "I hope CCP loses another subscriber because they didn't replace my stuff"

I had the same thing happen to me a LOOOOOONG time ago... only the corp I joined claimed all my items in my own corp would fall into a personal hangar. They did not. I eventually lost everything... and the corp I joined basically said... "ooops, sorry, oh well". After months and months of petitions... a GM refunded me in isk. I hope things are smoother for you.

while this is well cool of you and all, it does prompt a bit of discussion.
The OP admits he did something stupid and as I understand the game did exactly what its supposed to do, exactly what he told it to do.
This isn't a case of lag or CCP error.
Now christmas season and all, but if yer gonna give OP 1 bn to cover his mistake I've made a few too and they've certainly cost me some considerable, for me anyways, cash & assets, start with 2 fully kitted out battlecruisers ( proph & cyclone ), toss in a 27% cargo xpander and a few other misc items, maybe 100mil...
for that matter every single time I take my deimos out I know full well I am liable to hit lag and the possibility exists I could lose the ship & mods to something totally beyond my control, ccp's fault or inet, don't matter to me, and I know full well that this ship represents the majority of my assets and something I worked towards for 6 mos.
I also know my response from "customer support" is most likely gonna be a too bad soo sad, thanks for letting us screw you reply...
Loss is part of the game, a ****ty part mind you, but a part and if ccp can't replace legitimate ccp problems they certainly shouldn't be making special effort to replace player stupidity claims.

I'm not ccp and asking people if they are sure that no one can find any logs isn't too much effort.
And no, no one can find it in any logs. Sorry

meh, move on brotha.
Implants are just a scheme that "the man" uses to keep pvpers from true brilliance anyway! If you're anti pirate you would have been podded at some point anyway. It happens!

Ok dont think i'm being argumentative but this is a little contradicting... I was told by the GM involved that there are no logs with these incidents. The items are deleted and not recorded...
But you make it sound like the logs show that the implants weren't deleted...
This raises 2 questions:
a) Are there any logs involved or not b) If the items weren't liquidated... where the hell are they !!!?!?!?!!?!? -----------------------------------------------

Wait... how the hell do you delete a corp?
You have to use an alt to transfer CEO-ship, and then leave... - Proud member of the [23].

You can leave... but it just completely liquidates it and the corp "dissapears".
But it seems to do so without leaving a log of what was deleted.. All i am asking for is someone to e-mail or convo me in-game with a list of what was liquidised. At least if i see it there in black and white i know what has happened and where the implants ended up... otherwise i will just keep going insane asking questions and trying to work out what happened -----------------------------------------------

Sorry for being unclear, there are no logs that register this.

Couple days ago i was selling some minerals and tried to sell Iso for 12,750 cause of a typo. Cost me like 11million in taxes. And took up a large part of my Isk,
Sent an email and got refunded today. Was quite surprised i thought i was screwed. Great support
If they'll help get my 11mil back you could only asume they'd do the same for a billion or so wroth of items. ------------------------------------------- Aye Spellcheck is beyond me along with propper grammer. |

Edited by: MWEI on 09/12/2005 02:21:51 Well since it was part of your inventory CCP should have log for it
Im sure if a GM checked the log and found you wasnt lying he might give it back to you.
It is a sad story after all, Im sure they wouldnt be so harsh
Edit: If theres no log, well, its just another year after all

when you as CEO leave a ship it turns up a warning text
who explains if you leave the corp and it nobody else left in that corp all remaining items and isk in that corp will be "lost"
"learn too read" [ I sure read warning text before I do accept]
other players cant help you at all after doing a thing like that
only a petition too a GM [petition I hope you know what that is?] will help
damm Im sorry too see you losing that big amount

Asset window, to my knowledge, will not show items that are in the cargo holds of ships. It will also not show items in cans, either if those cans are in your hanger or in a ship. You probably have already done a search of everything, but I just thought I should point out that the asset window is not everything.
hope you stick with the game.

Well here is a longshot and it may work if the items were in the corp hanger. Have an alt go to the station where your corp was and search for your corp in the listings of corporations, then JOIN.
Sorry to hear about the loss and I hope this works for you.
Either free the slaves or we will come and get them.

if your going to disband a corp, always train an alt to take control, just incase this sort of thing happens

I just moved corps and the old one was disbanded.
I spent an entire day doing a complete audit of all corp assets, deliveriables, and personal assets. I even checked impounded items as well to be certain. It took another day for transport, moving ships, etc.
All in all, it was a 23 jump move for me. I didn't forget a thing and nothing lost.
What's my secret?! Glad you asked!!! I'll give you my three simple steps to corp moving success.
1. Check. 2. Double Check. 3. Triple Check.
Hope that helps for the future and good luck on the road to recovery.
