OK folks
I'll hold my hands up... Last week i created a corp where i intended to run missions with me and my alt... after a week i got a little bored and decided it would probably be best if i teamed up with another corp..
so i closed up my corp and headed off... here is where my nightmare began!! In my corp hangar i left some rather precious cargo... i.e a full set of +4 implants !! and some other implants (+3's etc etc) aswell!!
I cannot believe i was such a fool! Is there any way i can open this corp again and get the items back?? this would all but end me as i have worked my nuts off to get those implants...
what can i do?? -----------------------------------------------

It should be in your personal hanger at the station where the office of your corp was. if not, its either lost or you should petition it to the GM's. --------------------------------- KORKY Is Recruiting now!

learn your lesson well..that's all I can say. I did the exact same thing and the game liquidated my entire mining operations (including ships, equipment, skills, ore, minerals, blueprints, etc) for 1.7mil ISK.
It sucks, but if you really feel it then you won't make that mistake again. Bottom line, the stuff is gone. I never petitioned for my stuff because I was told it would not help but you could give it a try. ----- my playstyle is anti-pirate. what does this mean? it means you'll never catch me in a valuable ship and/or setup where it can be compromised. go on, trade your ammo for the scraps you'll get. |

1.7m is slightly different than the ~1bn ISk worth of implants -----------------------------------------------

no, you're mis-understanding...the game only GAVE me 1.7mil for everything...faaaaaaaar below what everything was worth. try a petition..it's a long shot and not likely to work, but it's your only option other than learning and moving on.. ----- my playstyle is anti-pirate. what does this mean? it means you'll never catch me in a valuable ship and/or setup where it can be compromised. go on, trade your ammo for the scraps you'll get. |

Well, Im not entirely sure how it works, but you would find out by checking your corp wallet, Im not completely sure, but I do know impound makes up a large part of the database.

Keep us updated on the petition. CCP should fix that and return them to you. Everytime I have closed a corp or left one I have spent ten minutes making sure I am not forgetting something. I also try to spread my items around and keep the most important things in my personal hangar.

i could of sworn i moved it to my Raven for movement to my new home but its not there... not in my hangar and not in the "search" of assets. so it must have been left in the hangar!
What i also find strange is that the corp(hangar) has now completely dissapeared from the station even tho i paid for 30 days rent...
I just need to find a way to get back into this corp?! -----------------------------------------------

Edited by: ThorsHmr on 06/12/2005 20:23:14 In the lower right part of your screen when you're instation there's a little button labeled "Deliveries".
Go to the station where the implants are supposed to be, click that button and you should get a window open up that will have those items in it that were mistakenly left in the corp hanger.
Then just drag those items into your own hanger!

this doesn't work as i am no longer part of the corporation in question and i do not have the rights to see the deliveries -----------------------------------------------

if you find a way to recover them other than a really nice GM on the other end of a petition i would be truly impressed..and please let me know. but thats trying to be really optimistic.
i'm telling you..i did the EXACT same thing and spent at least every spare minute of the following few days trying to find a way to recover them.
open your wallet and take a look at the transactions tab or even click the load button on the journal tab. you should find an entry where you were given money for everything liquidated. there should also be an eve-mail saying the things were liquidated. in either case, getting a petition out ASAP is your best option...i wouldn't hope for anything happening from a post here, but i could be wrong. ----- my playstyle is anti-pirate. what does this mean? it means you'll never catch me in a valuable ship and/or setup where it can be compromised. go on, trade your ammo for the scraps you'll get. |

I feel for you I really do but take some small solice in the fact that you are not the only one to have done this ... I myself did something very similar my corp m8s left the game kindly promoting me to CEO before they did so, but left a couple of alts in the corp, I left the corp as I got bored but left 240 odd million ISK in the corp wallet
Petitioning was futile as the corp still had members in it so GM's would not empty the corp wallet.
It sucks I know but it's not the end of the world, though right now it feels pretty close I know

Wild idea: Transfer items between 2 or more accounts without using Escrow 0.00 isk deals? ________________________________________________________

You could petition and ask if the GM's are able to help you out, if they have logs of it anywhere?
Forgot what I wanted to write here... |
