When the cold war ends could the storyline be a race war? could chars find themselves denied access to certain space or stations?
DOcking request denied? what!?

Gnauton will be moving away from static content to dynamic content in the very near future. When this happens, and in conjunction with more Aurora support, I would expect a lot of loose ends to be tied up. A war between the Amarr and Minmatar is a possibility, as is further conflict between the Caldari and Gallente.
Give us a bit more time to get RMR out the door and settled in. We'll knock your socks off, I promise!

Define 'war' please. Minmatars in Amarr space KOS? Minmatars with <x standing to amarr KOS in Amarr space? Minmatar with <x standing KOS to Amarr players with >x Amarr standing?

Will we be able to join NPC corps to defend their space? Aligning with a faction would be cool and all but joining>aligning ------------------

At which time you will at last have to find an explanation for (and a mode of action directed against) the various Minmatar stations in Amarr space and the many Caldari stations in Gallente space.
Anyway, it's a good thing I know you won't be ready for any of that before the summer. I kinda like my feet warm.

u can bet for those interested that the stations will remain - im assuming moreso just direct player versus player combat. Perhaps devs running around pretending its a big war.
Missions might get new types ie more amarr versus minmatar etc
But it wont destory the existing code and universe structure

Uh-oh... someone's gonna lose control of Caldari Prime and their homeworld. I'll try to hold back when the orbital bombardments begin.

What will this mean for multi racial corps or will only people in NPC corps be fighting each other? And won't that cause a bit of an unbalance in the universe. And where will all those cute ickle noobs go? I bet griefers will be camping outside SWA and popping every ibis that comes out.

Let'em.
To do that, they will have to be at war with the whole Caldari faction, hunting those noobs in core Caldari systems.

I'd like to see the low-sec stations on the borders become conquerable, thus changing the sovereignty of the system... and when you knock over an NPC station, the loot flows from the NPC hangars.
With rewards for successfully defending the station too, of course. To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield. |

Don't get too excited, it's gonna be carebeared to tears when it first comes out.
It'll probably work by creating NPC corp for every faction and having different NPC corps war dec each other. Then players would have to give up their own corp and join this NPC corp, with no corp hangars or any meaningful roles. To add insult to injury, players would be required to have high standings with the NPC corp and the faction they fight for.
Players in those NPC corps would have the opportunity to fight only players from similar NPC corp. There would be no travel restrictions or penalties, no NPC fighters. Just a chance to encounter a war target, like we can do already in regular corp wars.
This is what you should expect. So when it comes, you won't be disappointed. And if devs show a little more guts with the faction war design, you can only be pleasantly surprised.

You guys have no idea... they said there are 8 factions you can join. 4 Player and 4 Pirate by bringing the pirate factions into this.. you'll see 0.0 players invading empire. The angel cartel owned space and serpentis space will grow VERY big very fast. You'll prolly see an invasion of amarr prime/new caldari/jita by allied serpentis/ angel cartel forces within 3-6 mths.

In the Clancy's book Red Moon Rising (or RMR), the Cold war ended in a clash of steel (and it had some action in Island even!). So basically it seems to be a hint what's coming.
And come to think of it, Exodus (as in the book) occured to small number of people living as slaves in Egypt. So I guess exodus was a hint that few people might move to 0.0

Pod pilotes are elite people, we live in space. in space every pod is an egg People join alliance, some cut the tie with empire, some refuse concord authority (They are call pirate) that offer lot of possibility maybe some of us want that the past order Gallantean, Caldari, Amarr, Minmattar fall and a new order Bob, Ascn, .5., Stain... to come
