Due to upgrade of EVE to version 1163, yes we are patching today.

Downtime will be from 11:00 to 12:00 CET

with regard to getting pic up, click "player website" on the left, then "in game board", then "settings" pick one of ur toons and it will come up but its does take time, about a day for mine to come up (did this yesterday)

updated to 13:30.. though that was 21 minnuts ago. and no i do not expect the servers to be up on the spot. past history tells me not to.
well 18 if you go by the time stamp on the forum.. guess i should huh lol

*sigh*
I'm so exhausted. I woke up at 5:00a PST to log on and check the BP market, then realized I forgot it was extended downtime....went back to bed until 6:00a PST, then they extended the downtime further than planned...to 13:30 GMT, so I woke up at 6:30a PST and now I've been awake ever since. 
Please god make the servers come on line so I can go back to bed.....being unemployed isn't supposed to be so difficult...

I am going to work at 6 and wanted to get a few hours in before I went, I only started playing 2 days ago. Does this happen very often?

well, its waaay past downtime, yet servers are still off and patch is nowhere to be seen.
canw e have an update plz guys? i got 15k of isogen that needs a selling

lo evil, i dont care how long the update is aslong as they give a time and stick to it, would rather they said 4 hours downtime and had it up in 3....than 1 hour downtime and it still not up 3h15min l8r

Yes...it seems like they have a hard time, keeping down time. Its very frustraiting.

Patience, good people. I think we all know that "extended downtime" means "don't hold your breath." Losing a few hours of playing time won't hurt anybody.
Go run 10k and take a shower. You'll feel great!

is there a program out there that can constantly monitor the server and tell me when its comming online. I really want to play at the moment, but dont want to keep checking every 15mins or so.

I must say it's sad when I read some of the messages in this thread
Is EVE your life?
Getting up in the middle of the night etc just to play.
Sorry to break the news but it's only a game,and hence if the downtime is an hour more.
so what...
Get some fresh air and do something else then staring at the monitor
And don't plan your life around a game...Surly there most be more valuable things you can do in life lol...

There is a program that monitors the status of the servers on eve. Although I cant seem to remember where I found the dang thing Also maybe the net is laggy for the servers to be updated quickly this might be the problem for the updates.
