Once it's all up and running again, and you guys have finished running round like headless chickens, could you reply here and let us know what the problem was.
I know it involves CTD when undocking, but any other info would be great.

As a fact i worked 2 years as a sysadmin for one of europes largest corporations. And i know that mistakes happen, but it's all a matter of how many mistakes happen. And if a mistake happens you'll have to inform your customer/user about it.
I know for a fact that a user is much more happy when he knows the mailserver is down for an extra hour rather than not knowing that it will come up again at all. So goddamn tell us if we will have to wait till tonight or till xmas.
btw i work as a software developer atm, there'll never be bugfree software but again it's all about how many bugs and how fatal bugs there are.
And no, i am not one of the usual flamer. I quiet enjoy the game, i am just ****ed off because their communication skillz are poor.
If they posted straight away that the patch failed and the server might be down for an other 2 hours, i'd just went to bed and would sleep now, rather then waiting here .......

Apparently EVERYTIME you undock in 1164 you CTD. So they are fixing it and patching 1165 in a few minutes...approximately 20 more minutes.

no they rebuilded the 1164 so you dont get ctd (works again, just was on chaos). tho what 1165 fixes i have no idea. Also the mining laserbug is gone in 1164.
