Why is CCP giving bonus attributes to new players?

Why should my friend get a bonus to coming to the game and I get screwed? I don't think that is fair to any of us that have been around for any length of time. How is that going to balance things for players that have been playing for less than 2 years?

I couldn't find the details and didn't have the time to click the link before leaving for work. I'm still looking for the details on that one but the EVE website is slow from here today. I guess I will have to try to get more people to sign up now. :-)

I think as with any case of familiarity, those involved in something day to day forget that people who are not don't have the internal knowledge you folks possess and actually have to spend time hunting for these details. no n00b is going to look at the account management page for details on an incentive program and no offense, but eveopedia is not my first destination for details about eve, actually eveopedia is probably 1 notch above a first edition prima guide for preferred places to look for current info about eve. I made a post or two about this already. program details should be on the program page, or at least link from it. when you want a phone number do you look in the phone book? or the reference library?
