Make them an active module.
Duration about 20s Reduce the penalties to scan res. slightly Bonus to warp core stability applies only at the end of the cycle (ie- 20s spool up time) Large activation cost - knackers your cap Each active wcs reduces the number of targets you can lock by 2 Each active cycle gives you +1 warp core stability , count reset on deactivation Deactivates on warp
Mobile warp dis bubbles and interdiction spheres have a warp disruption value. ( I am thinking 5/4)

What's the point? I'm not saying your idea is pointless. I'm asking you to spill out the problems and reasons why you think CCP should devote time and resources to make the changes you're asking for. |

quite a unique idea here. i would assume the following:
1- the penalty are permanent (while mod is fitted) and not null untill activation?
2- only interdiction probes and warp disruption bubbles should have a WD strength.
the HIC would be seriously nerfed if its mod was also nerfed with this change. |

Sounds like someone wants to get through bubble camps or eventually escape lots of tackle with a well-tanked ship.
Oh the abuse that a capital ship could put this to... Spool that WCS up the moment you land, and you can build up hundreds of points of stability by the time you need to GTFO.
Smartbombing BS's could make good use of it too.

Agree with the forming consensus that this is an new/novel idea so +1. But it's also a solution in need of a problem so -1.
Perhaps if you more fully laid out the problem this would be designed to combat or the goal of the mod aside simply negating warp interdiction/scram/disrupt modules

When Warp Core Stabilizers got hit with the Nerf bat many years ago, They got pummeled into the ground, and Quite rightly so, it was too easy to have lots fitted. Because the fitting requirements. In My opinion the Solution should have been to not gimp stats by using them but make them harder to fit in the first place.
...MWD and ABS, got Class size modules, Why didn't WCS ? Having BS, Cruiser, Frigate requirement WCS.
the requirements to fit them are still too low. And the trade off is a bit poor. If people want to protect there Asset with WCS let them :) but at least make them have fitting requirements based on the ship size. Worked a charm for the MWD's and AB's. |

Apologies for the tardiness of my reply, I have been busy and only get limited in game time so I tend to post only when I am stuck with mobile devices only.
The problems are multiple. However the main problem is non consensual PvP (or attacks) where there is no possibility of escape.
I do not want to see interdiction nullifiers on all ships and this proposals does not mirror that.
I do think that it is fair to give someone a chance when you have caught them to escape just as you should have chance to keep hold and kill your target using skills (real skills not SP) and correct fittings.
My proposal actually improves hi sec and low sec PvP where currently you have a very low or no chance on catching and holding a WCS fitted ship.
In null sec if a guy uses a hauler then they should have a chance of escape from your bubble camp.
Some of you have not noticed that the target ship can be capped out. This would deactivate the cycle. Furthermore by reducing the ability to lock targets whilst active this then means its no use fitting it on your capship to spool up whilst you fight or rep.
In truth, I would support a reduction to max locked targets to zero upon activation of any of the new proposed was. |

How many of you currently haul your expensive loot thru null only in glorified Tech 3 haulers with interdiction nullifier and cloak or only by capship jumping from station to station?
This proposal improves the chance there will be more loot hauled through space |

No, if someone fits stabs they've already gimped their ship to directly counter your tackle... If you want to catch stabbed people, counter their fit and use more points.
Stop trying to change the game just because you don't want to break away from your cookie cutter fit to counter their fit. |

I think this would be possible since it has a 20 spool time and warp deactivation. In that 20 seconds the ship could be killed or bumped or many manner of things. And it would make any. Non interdict-nullified shipped vulnerable than normal, since modules don't work cloaked. However it's a bit iffy if it should so easy toake ships nullified. |
