Edited by: Recluse Viramor on 12/12/2005 16:39:25 Considering G has sovereignty and the outpost in AZN is now named IRON G Razor Front Headquarter I'd say that they have indeed taken control.

True. they managed to take the system but not by brute force it was done by winning the pos spamming war. Now to see if they hold it and take more stations or if the system is going to play ownership ping pong.

Gratz to G and pals for some excellent logistics.
But I don't agree on the downhill point. As everyone knows, its far easier to attack than defend and all of a sudden G now has something it needs to defend.
Its going to be an interesting holiday season and I dont see too much goodwill to all men being handed out

Did u take a look at the activity in AZN in the last days? If that is not brute force then i dont know what is.

No I haven't. As I already posted in the other G/IRON/ASCN thread (how many of these things do there need to be anyway, cant we just have 1 stickied war thread?) G has no interest in C9N and had ASCN committed lots of forces to attacking it and gaining control then G would not have defended it but would have taken their forces on to attack AZN or 68ft etc (not to mention the fact lots of alts would have run around going OMG ASCN ARE INVADING STAIN!!!! backstabberrrs!!11111111!)
Up until now ASCN has been defending AZN. Now it has the opportunity to attack AZN.
G cannot afford to leave AZN un-defended at any point over the next few days because RMR has been delayed.
So as I said, G is now on the defensive.

I would say they have enough time to take few more outposts before RMR. ------------- Don't drink and drive, logon to EVE and fly. |

Its possible but I dont see it happening.
If G don't defend AZN in force then ASCN will take it back - simple as that.
Plus you have to remember the logistics of fueling and maintaining that many med and large POS is huge, very difficult for one system, almost impossible for more than one this far from friendly space?

ASCN has the exact same problem with those logistics because the space isnt more friendly to them than to G/Iron.

Props to G/IRON. Was a well organized logistic success with some effective support when needed. Good lesson for you future outpost builders, no matter how good a system looks on paper, 60+ freakin moons SUCKS!
But all that aside, it's so far from being over, it's just getting good! Next few days are going to be interesting :).
