Cynet K405	Posted - 2005.12.12 21:45:00 - [1] Been playing EVE for 2 weeks now, love it and am still awed with the graphics (considering how old the engine is). With that said , i just wanna try my hands on the cinematic side of the "game" to tell a story (lol actually just a mission) My first attempt at using Windows Movie Maker and Fraps. Hope to have some feedback and possible tips on how i can improve in capturing ingame animations :) Would appreciate if someone can recommend me a program that have more features than Movie Maker and still retain the ease of use. Thanks lots! Filename: rookiejorney.wmv Filesize: 19mb (i would have made a better story, "the one i got pwned by drones", if only i learn bout fraps sooner)

erpy esa	Posted - 2005.12.12 22:30:00 - [3] Heh, reminds me of when i was a newbie in the good old rifter you might wanna fit a cap power relay in the low instead of a nano, and also, try not to mix tanking ie shield tanking and armor tanking. Was a good vid tho for your first try dude!

The editing/splicing work is also particularly excellent in spots where you used visual segue. Give us a story, a little narration work if you kind find a voice talent, costars, a little advertizing and you'll be set to make a career in EVE as a fulltime director. Cytan	Posted - 2005.12.19 22:14:00 - [25] A video worthy of the Rifter! Nicely done mate. Can't wait for more vids. Oh and watch the Double tanking. I made that mistake when starting the game too. Go armor tank with named ab cap recharger and a webber in mids. Cap relay 200m Tungstun plate and named armor repair in the lows. That should help out a lot. Looking forward to more vids.

I give it 9/10....but I agree with some of the post about the setup....can you use a small nos? it might help with your setup? KEEP up the good work, if you see me local and you need a hand give me an yell! Some people have Music or MP3....I collect EvE videos that I watch during downtime...oh well... My top 5 videos and worst top 5 videos coming soon!.

How do you do that ? With the mousewheel it only moves the camera away/closer to my ship... :( edit: Ok I just found out that it's RMB + LMB and up/down drag :P Really nice movie btw and good luck with those damn drones!
