Frankly im suprised and sadened by the endless macro hype. Theres just so much. At the time of this post 11out of 21 threads in crime atm are about macro's. why?
I have a few points to make. Firstly about the revelance to this forum. Most of the threads being made have absolutely nothing to do with (taking the title literally) crime or punishment, or indeed PVP in general. Im sick of these threads. The tales i love of buried treasure, shivering the legits timbers and sqauwking parrots are now so seldom it

My 2nd point is the sheer paranoia there seems to be about macros. It seems if more 2 miners are spotted the shout goes out "OMG HAXOR MACROS!!!1 suicide squd ASSmbLE letz BLAsT deez beyatches 2 StAIN?!!!"
Personaly macros arnt doing me any harm. It just seems to be whining carebears wh o are getting done out of business and who think they can use macros as a common hatred to bond with us pure breed pirates.
In fact i see macros as another way of greifing carebears. Dont you see macr

Read the last couple paragraphs in my thread, link in my sig.
Then enable us to view your corp, race, and alliance data.
Don't impose some weird character count limit on yourself and multi-post like that, makes it look like even the damn post was macroed.
And finally, if you're posting with your alt, stop it.

I have no idea whatsoever what that thread has to do with macros.
Id love to extend my character limit but unfortunately my PSP will not allow this. My PSP is being used due to computer unavailability. This is also my main character. Since your sig did not help.... Please can you explain to me how macroers are such a potent threat and why require 10 threads a day from you?

only then the next person to hear "macro'er" defined in game will immediately come to the forums and no doubt NOT read that thread and post another. I say buff up the title of this thread and make it stand out at 9238593 point font, flashing and spitting at you when you enter then forum.. then make the first say something like "LET IT GO!"

Shocked I am to learn that there are people in the world FORCED to read forum post. This is the kind of meta-dictatorship that I have long and tirelessly fought against. Who among us could take the long hours of reading one redunant post after another on the EVE forums. How many times must people be forced to read the lastest post from Jimmie Noob about how to outfit a rifter. Call the United Nations, Call Greenpeace, Call Doctors without borders and above all..

There is no paranoia- systems are rife with Macro miners/ ISK farmers, ruining the game experience for all.
And 'macros arnt doing you any harm', so they're ok then? Very selfish attitude.

1. Macro threads are getting boring. Get a sticky up and let anybody interested read/post there.
2. These threads tend to be 'pirate' threads with a lot of yaaarrr yaaarrrr and everytime an anti-pirate voices his/her opinion it's flamebait. i.e. it's not a pirate forum, it's a crime and punishment forum. Nevermind.

It would be nice to maybe sticky one thread about macrominers and let everyone post there. Not too certain why 9 out of every 10 threads is about macromining. Guess people don't know what the 'reply' button is.

I actually dont read most of the macro threads. My post points out their dominence on the forum.
Im UK and have only been to Walmart once which i must say was fun, and i only looked at what i wanted to hehe.

well since the ISK sellers are always out of stock (no i'm not buying, just checked to see if the hype was justified), either the macro hype is just hype or people are buying it faster than they can collest it (meaning you're attacking the suppliers when the people you are playing next to are the ones fueling it).
this is no different than any other MMO Macro'er witch-hunt. happened a little bit in EQ i remember, and a few times in WoW. Only place I never saw this same crap was CoH and that's because the game really didn't cater to macro usage.
EDIT: I'm going to start putting bounty on anyone with <0.0 sec status posting a new thread about macro'er hunting. Wouldn't it be dreadfully ironic if all these accused "macro'ers" used a fraction of what they made to put bounty on the heads of those hunting them.

did you read my post? my stock checks went round before the witch-hunt really started getting conformist-ridden..when people were just complaining about macro'ers because it was(is) the thing to do. i did it so i would have a little more back to my arguement than "WE KILL MACRO'ERS! ALL HAIL US! LOOK ITS WORKING BECAUSE THE SELLERS ARE STILL OUT OF STOCK!!11!1one!11"

They ruin the WHOLE game...!

I think we need a post that lists where and when they were sighted. I used to avoid oursulaert like the plague, until I wanted some fighter missions. The system is too crowded for my taste. But I've noticed there a lot of macroers in the vicinity(the above, mies, and algogile) I prefer to mine in quieter systems so I really dont care, but these guys strip entire belts in areas where new players are just starting out. Can only petition so many times and I'm not going to get blasted by concord. Just want to be able to sell my ore for a decent price.
Dont have the time or money either to make another char and mount large sbs on all the highs :/
Gms so far have been helpful, but for some reason in this region they dont care.

I hope the macro threads keep increasing more and more until every thread is a macro thread. The more threads the more it climbs the priority ladder for ccp.
If all posts ceased, why should CCP bother doing anything?
We'll just get a Dev coming on saying yes yes, we're looking into the matter
If 1000's, hopefully 10's of 1000's keep whining, whining and more whining CCP will go with the crowd and make macro's the top priority.
Id gladly sacrifice a months worth of forum browsing until CCP got it sorted, than just patiently waiting months and months, whilst other things got done instead.
Especially as christmas is coming up, (busy busy).
Also fixing bugs and the crashes, a patch dedicated to these things would be great.
Just my humble opion
