just a continuation of recent days back up within the hour hopefully. Guess we got close to 20k again - during quite periods numbers are up to 15k as well so i guess it just couldnt cope with the load

meh i can see another round of mining to replace lost battleships etc - now there is a business idea - ie simply sell ships in the regions that suffer the most crashes and lost ships. I can see HAC prices going up further

well the recent problems have been ISP related ive spoken to my ISP (non eve websites were timing out left right and center) apparently there have been routing problems on the big ISPs of late esp in the UK and the US causing global internet timeouts and all sorts of traffic issues - one of the many worms as well as a spike in spam emails clogging up bandwidth
SO yeah its not just CCP not by a long shot

server still showing not able to connect to 157.157 thingy
As for database server will there be any lost items missing or t2 BPOs deposited in my hanger by mistake :P

To those jetcan mining - youre stuffed To those on missions - and after tiem bonsues youre stuffed To those engaged in PVP - good luck To those finishing skills = ha ive got a 20 day skill training until RMR comes good To the database - please give me a t2 BPO by mistake To the NPCs - oh please have a triple dark blood spawn waiting when i get back To CCP = good work guys keep up the good work i was expecting issues with all these upgrades u have done a pretty good job at minimizing the disruptions these changes will make things better in the long run

well obvioulsy there was some node overload and the system did what it does to ensure stablity and throttled down the number of players in the game - those 7000 in the game can keep playing lucky buggers. Otherwise dunno go do some RL stuff or wait and post on the ideas forum

1 week before and 2 weeks after each major patch and hardware upgrades this happens ive got megacorp management V in place so im sure it will be all good after 20 days
