the outcome may not have been different but thats besides the point. this is a high profile tournament and CCP puts a raven from the other team right next to our fleet. |

Hey guys,
When our team got teleported to the area system, one of our pilots got DC'd. Apon logging in he found himself at your beacon. seems like it was a mistake by CCP that happend due to the DC. This shouldnt of happen and was unfortant that it did. Dispite that, we hope that everyone involved in the fight felt it was still a good fight and had a good time!
Cheers, Minus 0ne Percent Transmission Lost

I was moved last on our team and wound up at the sun, without DC'ing so it happens, it's unfortunate they wound up on top of you though. |

matters quite a bit
seeing the enemy comp and what beacon the enemy team is at before you have decided what ranges to warp to the arena is a pretty big deal http://pizza.eve-kill.net |

In that case, I call PL to announce their ship types and beacon in local upon landing in the system :-) |

Well they obviously saw that the kronos was gonna MJD into their fleet a minute into the match and planned for it so they could blap it as soon as it landed.

This happened to us last year with Verge. Didn't hear us complain about it. For that matter, outside of a few of our "friends" ie Rote, we never even brought it up outside of the alliance for the most part. Outplay them or get outplayed. Overall seeing like that is minor. Run your comp better than they can. If they are already changing their fleets tactic because of what you have you could easily also have just as much of an advantage as they are now potentially either over thinking their options or going to Change the way their fleet is meant to be run. This could easily allow you to set the tempo for the rest of the fight.
Depending on comps, which you cannot change at that point anyways it is pretty minor overall. |

It is a TON of work to get the tourney setup and going. There are always going to be kinks in the system.
In the grand scheme of things, the "advantage" provided by that mishap was and is negligible. How about you just shrug it off, and treat it appropriately.: It was a minor error and nothing to get your panties in a twist about!!!!
p.s. Do you realize you also got intel on their setup prior to you warping in? A Raven is a pretty big "role investment" meaning you could just as easily alter your warp in strategy too. Really though, you should have decided your "warp ins" long before the opponent landed on grid, and if your setup was truly prepared for them, it wouldn't "need to change".
