I have been checking Sisi on a regular basis and have read the RMR site in detail and I have failed to find any mention of Space Animals. I am sure they were promised in this patch. This would have been just in time to allow pod pilots to present their friends with animals for their newly constructed space zoos on Christmas Day.
Whilst the servers are down can you give some thought to which space pets you will be buying when the much promised Space Animal expansion becomes available.

Er... I know everwuest has pets but can we please keep this crap out of Eve? We don't need pets in this game. The space animals promised were just an idea and I'm pretty sure they were referring to space-dwelling monsters.

I do not know about space animals. But it would be neat to have more animal(alien species) trade commodities. They say that the furrier is an expensive sought after pet. So I would like to see the furrier and fedo as trade commodities.

This game has pets. They are called Minmatar.
Having to live on, one knows better than to value life too much.

I feel this is a very important point maggs...
i feel a new skill tree dedicated to the wrangling, management and breeding of space animals is a very important component of the game...
The 'Warp' Skag-smoking bunny concept i read about on the forum would be a great addition, as would the Titan-class Plutonic Love Sheep...
Perhaps some of my Ushra alliance mates might be able to aid in similarly constructive discussion?

Joke, no way. Apparently CCP held a closed session at the fanfest with only a few industrial corp CEOs. I heard they got the first glimpse of space farms, space predetors and all kinds of animals. The space whale can eat a Dreadnaught, but not a Titan. |

I want a pet rancor delivered in my hangar this christmas, and in spirit of this holiday, I'll name him Rudolph the Red Nosed Rancor and tie him in front of my 'rax...

Or for the trade commodity animals a pos module that harvests creatures off planets then just figure out a way to sell them on other planets.

The Throne Worlds have plenty of pets to offer. Most start at 1000 isk and can be found in the "livestock" section of the market. Although most you will find there are broken or have been worn down. They where at one point in time cheaper but due to constant raids by so called freedom fighters the price has been driven up.
If you're looking for a pet that does not require V-toxin or Slaver hounds to control the price goes up quite a bit.

indeed...the space monkey would have been the first creature at the top of everyone's list....however, the Caldari Nobble-Cockerel would be an amazing beast to see swimming through the depths of a Blood raider 10/10 complex, utilising it's oversized furelburgs to propel itself between cargo cans, devouring all useless loot...etc...etc...etc...

In World of Warcraft certain character classes have pets.
In EVE you just pick up a random n00b at any of the starter systems and train him/her to be your wingman.

Well, actually, they could add them into the game, not as any major features, but rather as items similar to current items like strip dancers, VIPs and stuff like that. Btw, I like your nick!

Yes, and I heard that they've been also talking about a new skill named 'space whale mindcontrol' and a new module, but they weren't sure, if it should become high or med slot.
