Say it ain't so? You guys always put up a good fight and we for one are sad to see this happen. I am stealing an internal write-up of last night's encounter to post here:
So we were investigating the C5 chain off our static C4 for activity and possible gassi... er, pvp activity ... and jumped into a new C5. Not long after, a scout from that system jumped into the connecting C5, and he happened to belong to Boris Johnson's Love Children, a corp that has given us good challenges in the past, sometimes spanking us and sending us home. With the crapton (metric) of ships on dscan undoubtedly scattered around the dozen or more POSes, they could have had any number of pilots waiting for us, plus more that we didn't see. We watched the scout jump out and back in, and then one more time, still waiting for either the hole rolling fleet or a response fleet. Meanwhile, the C5 directly connected to the C4 showed three active pilots, one in a cloaky Loki who evaded us several times proving that everything happens at once, or not at all.
Ultimately, nothing happened and we jumped a second scout in to look around, when to our amazement, we didn't just find a unicorn, we found the Leprechaun's pot of gold, the Leprechaun and his family and their whole little golden village: piles of ships with no POSes, tons of unanchored POS mods, and even an unguarded CHA. They nicely left a couple of CovOps frigates, a Flycatcher, and a couple of haulers sitting in space for us to pick up. Over the next two hours or so, we made a nicely executed bombing run and popped a dozen or so ships at one location, and started popping/looting other ships and picking up POS mods. In his never-ending war to maintain top kills, we had to physically restrain Gunner so we would have POS mods to collect.
When we had finished, the Boris scout logged back in, and lost two Omens and a pod to us. We brought him into the pub channel, and he said that their corp basically fell apart. They had already evacuated -- I guess we just got the left-overs ... about a billion worth. We gave him a back door that led into his home, and wished him well, leaving our pickings in a hisec station for processing the next day (today). There is one less capable PvP corp in w-space now.

The short story was a slow decline in leadership activity over the start of summer that lead to the remaining leadership buckling under the constant demands of living in WH space. These are complete Lies and False Rumors. I was there to gas Harvest and they got in the way. I own no pvp ships..they are only for killing Sleepers..

It was probably because of the inevitable T3 nerf. They just wanted to get ahead of the game.
On a real note, RIP. I'm not completely positive if I was ever in a fight with you guys, but had friends that have. They all seem to agree that you guys were pretty good. |

Wish the guys who left all the best in low sec. Not too impressed with how things went down but I respect the decisions made. We had a good run, solid group of friends - give it some time and we may see a Boris revamp...

I have never claimed to be a diplomat by the way and i will be the first to tell you that i am not.. Jace has been Trying to teach me. (btw i do help ppl as well but normally after we kill them first)

Boris Johnson's were quite keen for me to join them when I was contemplating my move to WH space but something about them made me feel a little uneasy. Looks like I made the right choice
