seen mining upgrades skill and mining laser upgrades module after a few randomsearches on market.
Sadly the skill is not for sale nor the module nor the module bpo. so have the miners been forgotten in RMR?

Sometimes new skills are distributed by Agents before they are available on the market.

Four new skills, three new Leadership modules, and two mining upgrade modules-one for ice, and the other for ore-are added with RMR, plus four new hardwiring implants and a leadership implant (Mindlink). Also added are named ice miners, strip miners, deep core miners, and mining upgrade modules.
Are you telling me 3 of them new mining skills are agent offers?

They still should be on market. Plus, those types of skills normally are limited skills that normally only apply to agent missions. Also, I cant find some of the modules.

Miners got shafted again just like we did in the last patch.

You might find that you just need to figure out where they're sold. Once it's been updated the item database should have this information (under 'NPC Supply') -- Lyrus Associates is recruiting |

Aw FFS! Just give the players a bone without making everything in the game some damnned voodoo ritual! I'm tired of logging in to spend 70% of my time jumping through fricken stargates. News Flash! Once you've seen space in a lot of places, it all looks about the same.
If it's all in Outer Ring, very few people are going to be trucking out there to purchase the necessary stuff to git r' dun.
Or has CCP forgotten the majority of miners are carebears?

That large T2 miner with 8k capacity and an extra 15% over base mining that can actually withstand a few hits from rats before it warps out must suck to. I have no idea why I'm training up for it. I must be stupid.

I noticed that alot of the new items (not necessarily just the mining ones) were listed as not available when I checked the market... but when I went to the detailed view I actually saw places selling the items... like the small tractor beams.

Well i found something that i think is new.
Hardwiring Implant Slot 10
Hardwiring Inherent Implants "Highwall" HX-1
A neural Interface upgrade that boosts the pilot's skill at mining. 3% bonus to mining yield.
Not on the item database sorry. Apparrently it doesnt work with stripminers though and someone apparently had one with a 5% boost. the problem in t2 barges is not the armor, but the limited low slots. 2 WCS are not enought to prevent scramble to insta spawn at 15km from you of let say 2 cr and 4 frigs that scramble. Yeah you got armor, but how long do you think u can tank that will cavalry arrives to liberate you from scramble? Besides t2 are even more expensive making the mining impractical, so why not keep to t1 barges. Since WCS are useless with anything more then 2 scramble capable ships, just use nanofibers and you'll warp out just in time before you get pwned. If you get scrambled, you are dead anyway in t1 or t2, so why risk the big money with t2?
The way i see it, t2 barges - win for empire carebears, totally inpractical in 0.0. Oh well, we just gonna see those low mins stockpile faster :)

Have you seen spawn rates of rats in 0.0? In my experience, even with a 4 'ceptor spawn, it's unusual to get more than 2 points of scrambling. Fit a jammer too, and you're laughing. (And 'ceptor spawn ratios are down too) -- Lyrus Associates is recruiting |

Deividas, appearently your not thinking clearly you have 4 mid slots ever hear of ECM or Sensor dampeners? I gaurentee you can lock them faster than they can lock you so you can hit them with ecm or sensor dampeners before they lock you hence preventing the lock and the scramble so you can get away. All the ecm and sensor dampners now work on ai rat spawns so it should work. I can't be too hard on you cause before RmR mounting ecm and the likes was a waste of a slot vs ai but that has changed. ECMs worked fine in Cold War. Often went ratting in my scorp. (With the added bonus that it's good if someone wants to come play) -- Lyrus Associates is recruiting |

It's probably just an oversight. However even if the new skills _were_ only available in the outer ring, they're relatively un-bulky. I'm sure more than a few would make their way onto the market in the middle of empire. -- Lyrus Associates is recruiting |

Heh, well so you are sitting there mining with 3 locked roids at least. Spawn appears at 15km, you unlock, lag, kick in the sensor booster and sensor dampener, lock the potencal scramblers, issue warp command, lock acquired, dampen, oh great, lock breaks you are home free !!! you accelerate broom!!! full stop. cause you are now scrambled by frigs orbiting you at 5km and they have no problem locking you even with sensor dampeners. It takes seconds for frigts to reach orbit around you, so forget the dampeners, the only chance you have is jamming them, assuming you are successful in it, and have enough cpu.
But then again, anybody wanna gamble their t2 large barge on spawns hoping there won't be more than 2-3 scramble strength in total capable ships? Too much at risk for mere 15% increase in mining bonus. We did forget the hostile player factor. 2 frigs with mwd, and 2 jammers would be enough to scramble you in no time, all they need is launch several scout probes once in local.
mining with a t2 barge in 0.0, is like painting a BIG FAT RED target yourself for all those miner ganging squads galore. So good luck, but i am gonna take my reduced financial risk chances in covetor in 0.0 :}

maybe i'm mistaken, but isn't 2t stuff meant to be more advanced right? well isn't it fair that they get the +2wcs bonus that certain transport ships have, i think that'd make them a bit better anyway. + with a t2 barge it does mean that the extra hp lets you mine in lower spec space, maybe dangerously in 0.0 but still lower then u usually would dare go, to solo mine.
