Jack, any descent scout relies on escaping unscathed near downtime or up-time.
Eve is a game where split-second decisions can cost you months of work time, or even the final outcome of a battle, then we are talking about tenths of peoples months worktime..some ppl love Eve for being just that, Im just 50%-50% about it.

I guess people need to spend a bit less time in front of computer and relax a bit... Go outside, listen to small unbaked flying chickens sing, look silly colored vegetals flourish, etc... And just do like you find it's all beautifull and entertaining...
Ohhh... And imagine shooting all this down with a 425mm railgun fitted with antimatter amo... And with some damage boosters you could even make fireworks with the flying chickens...
Uh....... Wait... What am I saying ?? Ack! I think I am maybe a bit addicted too...
