I'm certainly noticing that the duo's posting has diminished greatly in both sperg and intensity.

Let's compare a CFC pet to BL.

Fcon: a 2k man alliance living in space given to them and protected by the CFC, for their size they lack their own competent fc's and activity to be able to hold their own against other sov-holding entities, they have ratting contracts which they use to generate an income along side coalition-granted moons, have blue standings and have participation monitored which can either be rewarded with moons or punished by losing their space, which is what Fcon needs to survive.

BL. A small 900 man nomadic alliance deploying ever 2nd month to war zones throughout EVE, they have their own fc's, very high activity, are able to hold their own against other entities of much a larger size, they generate their income via moons taken by themselves, for themselves, and mercenary contracts. Their contractors, in this case the CFC do not get blue standings, so all entities can and will be engaged if they don't stay out of the way, they have no say in our levels of participation as we're not blue, nor do we need to support their operations. Should the contract parameters be breached all the contractor can do is cease paying BL, which will then bring us all back to square one, where we'll either stay and shoot them or go somewhere else.

Also if you think back the majority of the moons you owned were given to you by us, your most successful ops (cap/titan brawls, TFI welps etc) were FC'd by BL, in BL dominated fleets and when we reset you it took you no more than three days to head for the hills... Sadly I don't think 401k is in any position to be calling BL a pet.
