Nice lil mission, previously i tanked every other l2 on my stabber. Now getting this powergred update i'm getting mission with 50k+50k reward seems easy, isn't it. Goddamn NO. I had to run away, then take 2 buddies with myslef, then they killed my buddies but i managed to escape... Anyway i managed to complete this mission, spending 2.5 hours to do so. That's definitly not 100k mission, i mean not 50k becasue i definitly lost my time bonus which was some laughable number like 40 mins... Heh i'm a noob but for the god's sake I do tank any other lvl2 mission without any issues and some of lvl3 but those was quite an experince for 45k. Huh
Not to mention huge drop in caldari fraction rating, ok i get it Red Moon etc but 45k!!!!

Apperently the rewards are based in part on how long the mission takes to complete. So the rewards will adjust eventually.

Now I think this is a little bit too hard, met warp scrambler in the next misssion of human cattle. My stabber made puff. I think there should be at least a kind of a warning isn't it? This is only 2nd level btw.

I hear you. I *had* a cruiser that could easily tank every level 2 out there, until this morning. The damage output and difficulty of level 2s (at least, I can't runs 3s yet, but there are plenty of posts that agree) say that they're quite a bit more challenging, maybe even at times near impossible.
I believe we are poster children for the idea that things just got a lot more dangerous in the Eve world. Too bad everyone will insist on finding out for themselves.

Nope. I wont be going near an agent for at least a week or two. You can expect that they will have loads of bugs in the system for the next few weeks to iron out. Certainly more risk than reward for my tastes

Aye, tis a challenging mission set for lvlII. I just treated it like a PvP fight and it seemed to go ok.
Methinks the line between mission whoring and real fighting has been blurred.

these new missions will have been tough to start with - take someone in in an interceptor get the aggro have them fitted with EW modules and target disrupt - sensor dampen and NOS em to death - they are now susceptible to all these PVP modules and im only doing level 1 combat with a faction i have shotty standings with and only access is level 1 (also not riskiing anything until bugs are sorted) 8 outta 14 missions were rogue drone missions (but the target disruptor works a great) fit a webber to the frig and she goes like a dream. Just knock em off in quick succession get the storyline and boost the standings - the compounds are interesting but nothing to worry to much if u dont loot.
But if rogue drones are going to be numerous we may as well as a group do so many of em that CCP has to eventually chagne em.

The last bit of this mission is a hoot.
I was rampaging thru it in my shiny megathron, and I almost had to change my pants when I jumped into that last bit...
All those fat red crosses... *shudder* .. and then the scrambling frig pounces on you... EEEEK!
Thankfully it was an uncommon style of mission ending. No spoilers, but I liked it a TON. More missions like this one - anything that doesn't just involve 'target, F1,F2,F3...' is a gooooooood thing.

Hmm, looks like I will have to start doing lev 2 missions again just to get to try this one out.
On a side note however, if a player as old as Maggot flying a wolf considers the mission a fun challenge then you can be sure its probably a tad too tough for a lev 2 agent :)
------------ 20. Is it true all pvpers have carebear alts? Yes, of course. I have so much fun looking up who's alt is who's

Fester, mb your right. I reckon a tanked bellicose with medium drones would give it a good shot though. Extra mid slot means you could have webber, tracking comp, target painter and an ab. |

The first three were easy. Some people said it was tough on 3; i had no trouble with a rupture and drones deployed. However, the 4th part.... poor poor Rupture! I now in debit to my corporation.

took me about an hour and a half to get through the first part of mission 5 in a vexor. Then the server decided it was time for downtime. Can anyone give me a hint of what to expect after the delta ships? Because approaching these gates are almost making me break a sweat. This should at least be worth an implant for god sake. Any help is appreciated.

I see I have company in being stuck on part 3 as well.
I ran a way the first time, recharged and came back to find the original ships had been joined by a dozen reinforcements. My poor frigate, dead in the first salvo. *sob*
A catalyst hasn't given me any better luck, but it did survive. So far I have been fitting my ships with shield boosters, armour repear and capaciter rechargers. Which has worked before but this time I'm getting overwelmed so I should try something different, but having been playing Eve for 2-3 months I'm not sure what.
Or I might be able to get a cruiser together before the time runs out.

I got down to 50% hull on one of the gates can't remember if it was first or second. On the last stage after completing i said what the heck and tryed to scoot way over and just agro a far group. Needless to say i was very lucky to warp out in time. Being a nube i was scanning and saw all the ships and at every gate i was ****ting my pants. I do have to say though that this mission was very well done and quite exciting.

For anyone thinking about going after that last spawn in part 5:
Possible Spoilers:
1. You take a pretty big standing loss. 2. The acceleration gate is inactive. 3. The pens do not drop what you'd expect.
Used a Megathron, Apoc, and Moa with several warpouts to clear.
